Amazing second dish ; Nua ( beef ) satay flavored served in black cast iron sizzling like a cauldron of lava ! This presentation has sound effects as the bubbling satay sauce is speaking to us or singing to us. I felt like this was a hybrid of sorts served like Mexican style sizzling fajitas yet is a uniquely Thai dish. The temperature is held by the cast iron which also delights your nose ! The fragrant satay can be enjoyed while waiting for the dish to simmer. My wife was fine with the Lad Na Moo ( pork ) , tender, flavorful and popular. The jasmine rice was fine as usual. P’ Tran pronounced ( Tan ) was outstanding and can handle a crowd both inside dining and the number of takeouts during our short 2 entree meal here. The true measure of any restaurant is our or another customers willingness to return. We we not traveling on to Taupo early in the am , we would have returned and made a three entree order. Clean glasses ✅, comfortable seating. The interior main dining and step up dining is adequate and intimate in its dim lighting ✅

I visited today, the lady who served us was so lovely, we loved our entrees the scollops were the best ive ever had. For mains we had the roasted duck 10/10 crispy pork salad 9/10 and sizzling beef plate 10/10. Highly recommend

Our favourite Thai place in Hamilton. The owner is very nice and always gives us extra complimentary food. Staff are very nice too. Food is consistently good. We have had a few family events and work do’s here too.

The set menu for two at this restaurant was a major disappointment. At $140, we anticipated a more generous serving size, but the mains were woefully small. The meal included two mixed platters with 4 bite-sized Thai snacks, two servings of rice, a green curry, a stir-fry, and two ice cream desserts. Had to pay $8 extra on top of $140 for changing the protein of one of the mains to duck. Having explored numerous Thai restaurants across New Zealand, we’re convinced that ordering these dishes à la carte would have been a more budget-friendly choice.
