Went to dinner tonight and it only had the most amazing and perfectly cooked steaks the service was so amazing Ciera was our server and she was such a beautiful person and on point with her service! Will be returning to this location for family nights and dinner dates just me and the husband

My go-to favorites: Texas egg-rolls for appetizer…(cream cheese, hint of jalapeño, a sweet jalapeño jelly-type dip). Not very spicy but just enough of a kick to get the jalapeño flavor, but overall crispy cream cheesy-deliciousness. The Sesame Garlic Filet Mignon…melts in your mouth (I order medium), delicious sauce- very savory, buttery, garlicky. House salad with their creamy lemon-dill dressing and their loaded sweet potato (HUGE perfectly baked sweet potato, with cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter) are my usual sides. Hubby ordered a burger and enjoyed it. He usually gets the ribs or the sampler platter and has always liked everything. They have a great selection of drinks and different types of lemonades, and the drinks have always been strong (in a good way!) every time we’ve gone. That “other” roadhouse not too far down the freeway is always crowded, and although I don’t have specific negatives about that place, I do enjoy the more laid-back and less noisy/chaotic atmosphere of Original Roadhouse and I’ve found my magic tasty go-tos 🙂

The food was very good. I had the Mahi Mahi and it didn’t even need any sauce, it was delicious all by itself. We have ate here many times before, so we already knew what to expect, that’s why we come back occasionally.
Our waitress was nice when we could get her over to our table. I’m not sure if she was a little overwhelmed with the tables she had, but was friendly when she was there. I don’t recall her coming to the table at all to see how things were, if we needed anything else, etc. Even had to get her attention for the check so we could leave. But, don’t let that deter you, we all have data that are a little hectic, and this could have been hers. We will go back and eat again, no doubt.

The Original Roadhouse is an absolute bomb of a place. Let’s start with the food.
The Fillet Mignon was absolute fire. From being cooked to perfection to being drowned in garlic butter, this is one of my favorite steak dishes in the High Desert compared to Texas Roadhouse and Outback.
The sides were pretty good too, with the sweet potato fries being cooked perfectly. However, there was a little bit too much salt on the fries. The coleslaw was alright and definitely added to the meal. The cream cheese and jalapeno egg rolls on the other hand were absolutely amazing.
The atmosphere is pretty good depending on the time of day. During the day, it is quiet and a bit empty but towards the evening, it will start filling up and on occasion, there will be a live band playing.
Our server was absolutely kind and was always checking on us to see if we needed assistance and how we’re doing.
The one downside is the price, but the quality of food you get, it is a very reasonable price.
I definitely recommend this place for great steak and grill.

We ordered a burger, steak, ribs, and tri tip. Every dish was very well put together except the tri tip. Meat was kinda tough. The side dishes were good except the Mac and cheese.
My all American cheeseburger was delicious and my son loved his full rack of ribs as he’s the reason we came back here again. He really loves the ribs here . Sirloin steak was very juicy and tender. Drinks were refilled. Overall a pleasant experience. We will possibly be back again.

It was the most disappointing experience, I order the cajun burger, It was extremely dry no flavor at all, my husband burger was dry, stale, and not tasty my daughters rib plate was most expensive and disappointing dinner completely dry just bone not even barbecue was on it and the sausagewas a link not a real sausage. We are so disappoint we would go there very often it was very good but now we are not coming back again. And not mentioning the price it’s overpriced they change the menu and went over 200 dollars. They mixed up all the sides and forgot to bring many things that we ordered while still charging us for it. They took off many of the great food items they had and raised the prices on everything. Would never recommend. Just go to Chili’s instead a bit more wait but so much better.

Today was our first time ever dining at this restaurant. It was absolutely amazing food was delicious service was great atmosphere was very comfortable & relaxing. Our waitress Lauren was so very kind and welcoming and helpful with ordering. This restaurant will definitely become a regular for us

We were traveling through the area, and decided to eat here. We were seated, our order was taken in a timely manner, but then our waitress never came back. She didn’t check on us at all, refill glasses, or even see if we needed condiments, which we did. I had to go to the counter to ask for our bill. The food was subpar; and we are not interested in trying it again. Even if they had a busy day; which it appeared they were not that busy. Only two tables were being utilized in the entire section where we were sitting. Last time we went to Outback Steak house, and it was superb; and we will go there again. My husband got a McDonald’s sized cheeseburger, and I got a steak salad, both were not palatable, and we left most of the food on our plates.
The only saving grace, and reason for two stars in atmosphere, was the antique coke machine: however, not enough to return there to eat.

Terrible. Soon as you walk in it smells like bathroom. Everything is over priced. Food very lack luster. They should close or remodel maybe even rebrand. The hostess did her job very well.
