Granted, this is not what you would consider a “gourmet restaurant,” but the reason I’m giving it 5-stars across the board are for the following reasons:
Food: the food is always made-to-order, hot, fresh, and the portions (especially the lg calzone) cannot be matched for the price. The ingredients are quality.
Service: there is typically one waitress that I have had the most interaction with. She is very friendly, efficient, helpful (on ordering foods new to you), definitely keeps beverages full, and knows the balance between checking on you and worrying you to death. The gentleman at the register is quiet, not super talkative, but nevertheless friendly.
Atmosphere: I’ve been to this restaurant numerous times, and this has to be one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been to. I have never walked in and observed dirty tables full of dishes, crumbs, etc. The bathroom is never dirty (I will NOT use a nasty bathroom) nor smells funky. The floors are clean and swept and the tables aren’t sticky (HATE that).
This little B.V. charmer is a must stop if your a pizza lover, calzone CRAZY, sub fan, spumoni (my new fave dessert) partaker, and appreciate a lovely, quiet, and very clean dining experience.

We came into town to visit family. They said we have a great place to eat dinner. The food was really good. I tried the steak and cheese, they had a kids size spaghetti with meatballs, the calvone was really good and our daughter in law tried the turkey club. So go in a give this restaurant a try I think you will be Happy with your choice. Enjoy

Cute little Italian restaurant with speedy service and delicious food. They offer pizza, subs, pasta, and appetizers among other things. We had the White Pizza, shrimp Alfredo, and cheese garlic bread sticks. We didn’t wait very long for our food at all. Reasonable pricing as well! Will be back some time.

My fiancé and I pulled off the highway to get a bite to eat, and we are both blown away by the quality and taste of this restaurant. Everything from the fresh vegetables in our salads to the delicious meatballs were perfect— and don’t even get me started on the bread! I wish we lived closer and highly recommend you give this a try.

If your looking for a true Italian family experience then Original Italian in Buena vista virginia is the perfect place for you they have excellent authentic home made Italian food amazing customer service and not to mention Thursday through Sunday they have 10oz ribeye meals 2 for $20 or 2 lasagna dinners for $20 and they let you mix and match!!! They even cater!!

First visit in a few years, didn’t disappoint! I had the lasagna, very generous portion and was very good. Side salad would be better with croutons and/or cheese, but it was more than adequate. Service was good.
