To be honest, I’ve tried many different hot chicken spots, and most have left me disappointed — bland chicken, dry meat, and a feeling of total unsatisfaction.

Clyde’s Hot Chicken, on the other hand, never disappoints. They soar above the competition in flavor, portion size, friendly atmosphere, and amazing service.

I drive all the way from Corona, CA — a 35-minute trek down the dreaded 91 freeway — just to enjoy their incredible food with my wife and kids. My family loves the OG Hot, while I go straight for the 1930 , a perfect mix of heat, spice, and a touch of sweetness that hits just right.

If you’re looking for a hot chicken experience that delivers every single time, Clyde’s Hot Chicken is the place.

I really want to like this place and support the business because the sandwiches taste great. Unfortunately, the service is consistently very slow. On our last visit we waited about 20 minutes in the drive-through with no cars ahead of us just for one sandwich. The food is good, but the wait time makes it hard to come back regularly. I hope they’re able to improve the speed of service because the quality is definitely there.

First time eating at this restaurant and had a great experience. The manager went out of his way to make my first visit enjoyable and memorable. I had the OG chicken sandwich (hot as cluck) and it was fantastic. Just the right amount of spice. Everything was made fresh, the restaurant was clean, and the staff were super friendly. Even have TVs inside with the game on to pass the time while you wait for your order. Nothing but good things to say about this place and can’t wait to return… maybe for breakfast. Chicken and waffles…Check it out. You wont be disappointed!

I came in through the drive through and was waiting for 5 minutes and no one greeted me. I pulled up and there was a truck waiting, waited for 5 minutes and he also didn’t move. Came inside and there’s 3-4 workers standing around talking. Took 25 minutes to get a combo.

Food came out hot and fast. Chicken was juicy. I’ve never eaten at this chain before, but it had a lot of flavor! You definitely get so much food that you have to take some home in a combo. The original has a spicy and minimally sweet flavor, so it was good.

Hidden in the back of the lot, but completely worth the little detour. The management and staff are SUPER friendly and attentive. And the sandwiches are ( dare I say) better than Chick-fil-A (*gasp*)… Tried the Skinny Chick and it does not disappoint!

Chicken always tastes good, but the portion size are 1/3 smaller than before. For 6 piece chicken wings,for $12.99, I got 4 tiny wings with 1 small drummette and one regular size drummette. The fries serving also small. So sad. I made a comment to the person at the counter and she said that’s what the company instructed them to do. I don’t think I will come back.

Clyde’s got rid of the bites which were mostly what we got. The sandwiches are great if you’re in the mood. I don’t care for the tenders so it sucks the bites are gone. Feels like they got bought by private equity the way they are cutting back on stuff…

Clyde’s Hot Chicken is always so good! The owner, John was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. On top of that, the chicken is always so fresh and delicious! I would argue that Clyde’s Hot Chicken is better than Dave’s Hot Chicken! 10/10 experience always!!!
