I haven’t had a Buscemi’s sub since the 80’s. I was driving by this place and I don’t know what made me stop here but I grabbed an Italian sub and ate it at home. I’d say it was an average sub and that’s probably because all the other sub shops have a lot more on their Italian subs. With that said, this was a quick cheap sub, so I’m not saying I wouldn’t eat it again.

I’ve been in here 3-4 times now and have received great service each and every time. We had the pizza and the subs, everything has been very good. The staff in there is super friendly and the store is very clean!

Recently got a pizza from here. It has literally been 20 plus years since I had Buscemi’s Pizza which back then, it was one of the best pizzas on the planet. I thought I could not go wrong grabbing a pizza from them yesterday. Not even giving it a two-star. No disrespect, but ever since covid, between the trend of skimping and gouging, this pizza was 99% dough and it was dry. Out of 12 slices, there were four thick slices. Hardly any cheese. Even when not ordering extra cheese, there should be a dough to cheese balance ratio. Boring! If I would have known, I would have had them include a bowl of sauce to wash it down.

The Torpedo sub was delicious, and meat & veggies were fresh. Only complain the owner doesn’t carry seedless buns . The dill pickles are seedless and are the best I have had since childhood.
The price for the pickles is $1.49, I love the expiration date . You don’t have to rush & consume.
The cazones are delicious, especially the steak and mushrooms, or the steak without the mushrooms.
Very clean & orderly store. The owner , assistant, and cook are very accommodating. But, I’m not returning due to the subs containing seeds. Health issues with nuts, seeds.
