Family owned deli with fresh homemade bagels and cream cheese. Lox flown in from NY. The Corned Beef is cooked in house and paired with our homemade rye makes the BEST sandwich or Reuben. Deli salads are made fresh every 24-48 hours.
The deli specialties like Challah French Toast, Blintzes, Smoked Sable and Salmon, Chopped Liver (best on the Northshore) Knishes, Kugels, and Latkes (and latke french fries) are AMAZING! It’s like your grandma used to make! And we have not even touched upon the homemade Rugelach and soups…lots of soups but the fan favorite is Matzo Ball! You have to come visit, you won’t be disappointed!
Old-school, neighborhood shop offering a large selection of Jewish sandwiches, salads & baked goods.

The best bagel I have ever had. It didn’t even make it home. Frozen soups warming up on the crockpot for dinner tonight.
Prices are great, variety is fantastic. Will be back again to try the bakery items and more bagels.

The absolute BEST Reuben sandwich you can get anywhere near the NW suburbs. This past month I’ve been driving around trying to find the best Reuben around the Palatine area and this was my 4th (and final) spot that I tried out.
The restaurant is clean, welcoming with a ton of options ranging from bagels, pastries, smoked fish and amazing sandwiches. On top of the great environment and unbelievable food the service and hospitality are top notch as well. Wish I got the guys name that too my order but he (and this unreal Reuben) are the main reasons I’m returning and telling all my friends and family.
Now into the Reuben……. Tender corned beef (piled HIGH), perfectly tangy 1000 island sauce, crisp sauerkraut and cheese all between toasted rye. It’s definitely a messy sandwich but 100% worth it. I was going to bring it home but couldn’t resist and ended up eating the whole thing in the car. (And shortly wrote this review after)
Excited to try the bagels I got as well, but bottom line is if you are looking for an amazing Reuben…. Stop looking and just come here. Absolute top tier!!!!

On one of our adventures, I realized we’d be passing right by this gem — so of course we had to stop!
The food is absolutely out of this world. Their bagels are the best I’ve ever had — soft and perfectly chewy on the inside with a slightly crisp crust. And the deli meats? Hands down some of the best around.
Just look at these sandwiches — they look like something straight out of an ad, but every single one comes out picture-perfect like this. We even got to meet Lon, the owner, who is such a sweetheart and so proud of his work (as he should be!).
If you get the chance to stop in for a bite or grab some bagels and deli meats to go, do it. You won’t regret it!

First time trying this location, and hope the next experience is better. There where about 2 other customers when I entered. I put in my order for a reuben and a m&m rice krispy that happened to catch my eye as I was at the checkout. Most of the items behind the glass (meat sticks, latkes etc) looked good enough to take home. As I waited, a few more people arrived behind me and ordered, I was surprised when the people behind me got their order first, even after the first two customers had left. After a wait when the order came out the service seemed hasty and rushed. The sandwich itself was not much either, the beef itself was not very tasteful just salty, the dressing added more salt and created a soggy mess with the sauerkraut. It was definitely not the worst reuben I’ve had, but definitely expected more from a good establishment. At least the rice krispy was great! Definitely tasted home made. Other than that, hope next time will be better.

As an East Coast kid, I’m always on the lookout for quality delicatessens in the Chicagoland area. Unfortunately, there aren’t many left! But I was very pleased with my experience at this place, and would highly recommend it to anyone. They have a great selection of meats, smoked fish, and breads. It’s also a surprisingly spacious deli. My wife and I split a Reuben sandwich which was fantastic, but we will be back soon to try bagels with lox. Thank you!

I have to give credit when credit was due. I was in the hospital due to flu, dehydration and such. I was looking for some other remedies as well to treat me to get me energized. Everyone said try Matzo ball soup and am I glad I did. I never had a real Jewish delicacy, let alone Matzo ball soup. It was delicious! My brother in law picked it up for me yesterday for a large. The broth is great, a little too much salt but I can look past that, but there’s almost a buttery taste to it as well? Maybe I’m wrong and it’s just an oil or certain cooking oil used but there’s almost broth and Matzo balls are very good! They are hearty! Pretty good sized but I am definitely a fan and will be a repeating customer when not feeling well and will recommend this soup for extra cold & flu remedy if not feeling well! Or if the mood for soup I will highly recommend this place!

Exactly what I was craving, delicious! The menu was larger than I imagined. Would love to see hot tea on the menu but fountain Coke was my 2nd choice!

Just a darn good deli serving delicious food. You want some amazing bagels and fresh cream cheese. Boom. You want a breakfast sandwich. Boom. I had the egg, bacon, cheese on a sesame bagel with hash browns- amazing. Can’t go wrong getting something from this little hidden gem.

The owner’s passion for this business is evident, and it shows in the exceptional breakfast menu. I started with the Bialys, but the full breakfast meals, especially the sandwiches and hash browns, are phenomenal.
This place isn’t just about bagels; it offers a wide variety, including great lunch options. The spacious interior and well-chosen music add to the overall excellent experience.
