Family owned deli with fresh homemade bagels and cream cheese. Lox flown in from NY. The Corned Beef is cooked in house and paired with our homemade rye makes the BEST sandwich or Reuben. Deli salads are made fresh every 24-48 hours.
The deli specialties like Challah French Toast, Blintzes, Smoked Sable and Salmon, Chopped Liver (best on the Northshore) Knishes, Kugels, and Latkes (and latke french fries) are AMAZING! It’s like your grandma used to make! And we have not even touched upon the homemade Rugelach and soups…lots of soups but the fan favorite is Matzo Ball! You have to come visit, you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic food and reasonable prices. I’m not saying you have to go in with a plan but if you don’t your eyes may get overwhelmed with the options. The classics like matzo ball soup and reubens are great but everything is delectable too so branch out! Sweet tooths should be careful, there sweet options are as robust as the savory

Ordered a bbq brisket sandwich. It was so tough, I did not eat it. the quality of the meat was like a catchers glove. Other fare appears to be better. I would not come back, because they don’t control the quality of the meat. Brisket should really be tasty when you get it at a deli. What a disappointment.

One of the real Deli still left where you can get lox and bagels kosher corned beef pastrami gefilte fish white fish and fresh Bagels. I frequent this place whenever I’m in town or nearby however like all of the items in a deli it’s quite expensive but the atmosphere is good the staff is friendly and it’s one of the few left in Lake County I recommend it without hesitation
