Who We Are Our story begins at home. Origen was born out of a desire to pay tribute to our Peruvian roots and the land that welcomes us today: Florida. It is a place where memory, flavor, and imagination come together to create a signature cuisine that respects tradition but is not afraid to reinvent it. We work with carefully selected ingredients from Peru and fresh products from local suppliers in Florida, always striving for an optimal, responsible, and emotionally connected culinary experience. We believe in the power of nostalgia as an ingredient and in cooking as a bridge between cultures. That’s why every dish we serve at Origen tells a story: ours, yours, and that of everyone who understands that food is also an act of belonging.

This is a hidden gem! Everyone in the area should come here, originally it was another sushi restaurant called sushi sogo but this peruvian restaurant took over the location. The food is filled with flavor. The service is great as well and they have good options for wine. I would recommend everyone to come to this restaurant! Everything we tried was amazing.

From the moment we arrived, Bruce and Patricia made us feel completely at home. Their service was warm, professional, and full of thoughtful details that truly make a difference. Every dish was a masterpiece.
The pasta with steak was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection with an amazing blend of textures and flavors. And the ceviche Origen dish with that creamy, vibrant sauce… simply unforgettable. Every plate was beautifully presented and full of color and elegance.
You can really feel the passion behind every creation. Bruce and Patricia are truly the best! Thank you for making every visit such a delicious and memorable experience.

The attention was amazing. The staff was super attentive and helped us with recommendations since it was our first time. I went with my husband and a friend and we absolutely loved it. We had a nice time and the restaurant had nice background music and best of all, the sushi was next level. Honestly can’t wait to come back! Bruce the owner also came out to greet us, and he was super nice!

Everything was delicious , this’s another place I will be back. Our waiter was friendly and explained every question we had regarding the dishes and the owner came to our table to thank us for our visit! We’ve been to Sushi Sogo twice this week, and both times we had the chance to try their amazing Peruvian-Japanese fusion menu. Each visit has left us even more impressed — the flavors, presentation, and creativity are absolutely top-tier. The talent behind every dish really shines through.
A big shoutout to Mia and Devin for their excellent service — they were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Their warmth and professionalism truly made our experience even better.
