I enjoyed the tuna flauta, blue crab tostada, and the corn. I was most looking forward to the pulpo but to my surprise it arrived already cut up (not to mention swimming in a lot of oil). It was slightly overcooked as well. I did enjoy the tortilla (?) served on the side, it was thicker. Lots of options for a pescatarian, I would like to return to try other options

You can taste the quality of their ingredients. Their plates aren’t just pretty they’re also delicious!

We tried the short rib quesadillas with mole, Flautitas de atún ahumado (pictured), the tiradito de res and aguachile (pictured) and their mezcalitas.

Perfect spot for a date or a night out with friends and family!

Very creative Mexican inspired dishes served to share, tapas style. We had crab croquettes, short rib quesadillas, and tuna flautas. Also has some tasty drinks. Would definitely recommend.

A new gem for sure. The food, atmosphere and service were all 10/10. The dishes on the menu are very unique and you can tell that the chefs and servers put in a lot of effort to make sure you enjoy everything. The wine and cocktails were very reasonably priced for the quality and the portions were perfectly satisfying without being too heavy. It is tapas style so 2 people should order 3 things. Our bill for 2 people; 3 dishes, protein being salmon, short rib and octopus, a bottle of wine AND a desert was $130 which I think In 2025 is very reasonable for a nice restaurant in San Diego. You have to get the lime mango cheesecake its sinfully good.

Went here with wife and son in September. What a treat! From the craft cocktails to entrees and everything in between. What a cool place. Definitely be back!

Mexican food can be fancy, this place great evidence of that!

Great date spot, food was delicious.

Small dishes expensive so come with the mindset of sharing and trying different things.

Just ok. Server was amazing and service was impeccable. Ambiance was good but really only if you sit by the wall. Bathrooms were cute. Did not order drinks. Was worried about news level based on other reviews but it was pretty quiet music wasn’t overpowering. Dishes were just ok. Esquites were a bit watery and lacked flavor. The quesadilla was FANTASTIC though. Amazing gooey melted cheese inside and great flavor. Ceviches was beautiful but just ok. We got another dish I don’t even remember it wasn’t impressive. Cute place but wouldn’t go back. I just moved to SD and I have a list of places I want to go but it seems to be common theme for great ambiance and subpar dishes.

My husband has been wanting to try this place and we were able to make reservations for last Thursday. The service was super nice. The layout is as beautiful as you see on Instagram but a lot smaller in real life. I would say the worst part about my experience was the noise, it is insanely loud in here. They have not mastered their Acoustics to ensure Nueces and bounce off the walls, I cannot even hear my husband across from me or what the server is sharing with us. The advertised as Mexican style restaurant although I feel like there’s some Thai Asian fusion mixed in, I wasn’t expecting that but the flavor palette definitely reflected some type of fusion and not complaining! I loved all of our dishes we tried! Definitely different than your typical and traditional Mexican style flavors. We ordered a variety of appetizers to including the short rib which was amazing! And I ordered the octopus as my main dish and loved it! Overall the food is definitely worth coming back, I just hope they can figure out something with the noise, it feels like you’re in a club with how loud it is which is not ideal for an intimate dinner of any size.

Excellent service with attentive staff. Great presentation for every dish I tried, but food was underwhelming and lacking flavor. Tuna tartare was the highlight. Mole was sweet but lacking flavor. In my opinion, it was not worth the price that I paid. I’m not into cocktails so I can’t comment on that. It was so very loud inside the restaurant. At one point my watch actually alerted me about the loud noise that I was exposed to. Needless to say, it was definitely hard to have a conversation with my friends.

I really enjoyed the food!

Here’s what we had:

The shrimp dish, great flavor! My friend’s favorite.

Don’t judge me, but I had the octopus. OMG good! I’m more of a fan of the classic octopus style from Spain so I was a little bit skeptical. I would return for this dish in particular. Fantastic!

Pork tacos con mole, but it’s more like an empanada. Again, excellent execution. Really enjoyed the pork and the mole!

Elote flan… Here’s where I was a little bit disappointed. It does not have the texture of flan. It’s more like a cheesecake but thats ok because we also ordered the bananas!

Bananas flambéed…yum! Great treat to close out the night.

Service was impeccable, so patient, went over everything with us. We absolutely took his recommendations and we will obsoletely return with friends!
