We were surprised of the diner today. I got probably the best miso care in all my entire live! and my friends were very happy with their plates too. Atmosphere friendly and familiar. The owner was explaining all the dishes to help us to chose. I definitely recommend it and I will go often as there are more plates that I would like to try. The menu is smaller than other places but still you have variety. A Lot of vegetarian options to chose too.

My partner, mother and myself wanted some fresh, home cooked sushi and found this cute little delicious spot, just down the road from us. We ordered some sushi platters and dumpling starters which were mouth watering, we enjoyed it so much it was gone in seconds! The owner came over and we had a lovely chat about the place and the food. All n all we had a really great experience and will definitely be coming back again soon! Lots more on the menu to try! Food was beyond expectations, absolutely delicious. I love the fact the food is traditional and made exactly how you’d expect if you went to the country it comes from. Restaurant owner was also incredibly lovely and welcoming. It is a very calming environment and a joy to dine here. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet to eat and relax this is definitely the place. I 100% recommend trying here. :))

Cold, wet and windy Friday night, so we popped into here for some food, been wanting to go for ages just never had the time. We were both Hank Marvin, so had two starters each, chicken dumplings, lovely aromatic, trouble and strife (wife) had fried squid, crispy delicious, and two chicken soups.
Good God, that was nice soup, chunks of chicken and fresh herbs and spices, with a coconut overtone.
Trouble had Terriaki chicken, really nice savoury aromatic yum. I had the chef special Biryani. Loaded with big thick chunks of beef, my gnashers aren’t the best so it’s always a gamble. But beef was really tender but still had firmness, takes a lot of care to cook like that.
Was really clean inside, cutlery clean, tables, real serviettes.
All in all, a good experience. Would we go back? Yes of course, probably regular.
Good value for money, good food and friendly service.

Absolute joke. The “Beef” wings, (look at the menu!!), were chicken, and only half wings, 7 pieces, so 3.5 actual wings. And they were room temperature at best. £11.95 for 3.5 tiny wings!!!

The noodles were tasteless and bland. Just looked beige. See pic. (Note: some of the food was eaten, so not full portions).
The prawn rolls may have had prawn in there, but you can’t taste them.
The chicken katsu was ok, I’ve had better from Aldi, same goes for the Teriyaki crispy chicken, which was basically the same katsu chicken, but half a portion with a light drizzle of sauce which was possibly put under a grill for 30 seconds.
The prawn crackers were stale, and fried in old oil, as you can smell and taste it.
£50, for this, which should have included a 15% discount as clearly stated on the website. Instead we were given a £10 voucher for another meal.
I feel utterly ripped off. And the voucher will go in the bin as I will not be going back.
I strongly suggest avoiding this waste of space, and going to spoons.
Edit: The owner has offered a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill.
Edit: Order was placed online, how was it “misheard”? No refund received yet….

What a little gem of oriental good food. Ali is so welcoming and enthusiastic about serving you the best food from the far east. A varied menu of Japanese food on offer. Although he currently does not offer sushi you will not be disappointed with the quality and certainty the price. Rich and Sue will see you again soon

A fantastic place if you love genuine, home-cooked food. The menu offers plenty of choice, and while dishes take a little longer, it’s because everything is freshly prepared to order. You don’t find that often anymore. The owner gives you a warm welcome, clearly takes pride in the food, and is genuinely appreciative of your custom. Ingredients are locally sourced and top quality, which really shows in the taste. Prices are excellent for the standard. Highly recommended.

Me and my husband had a lovely time this week having lunch at the Oriental Sushi . The owner was very welcoming and explain all the different dishes to us . Our meals were incredible and very aromatic , you could tell they were fresh and made with good ingredients !! The atmosphere was calm and relaxed! We will definitely be back very soon ! I great addition to Street !
