This place used to be a 4.5 star to my family and I but man EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED. The prices went up and I didn’t notice until the food quality went down real bad. Today was my 3rd time giving them another chance because I didn’t want to believe how much the food has changed. Maybe the chef went on vacay but nope… just horrible.. used to have the best bourbon chicken and now it’s horrible. Lo mein had no veggie or seasoning whatsoever.. rice was just like that.. weird drastic changes in the food.

I ordered 2 orders of chicken wings and fries. On the web page it shows 4 pieces of chicken. In each order we got 3 pieces. It could have been door dash. But I doubt it. The chicken was good though.

My wife said 5/5 and I was more of a 3/5. Very nice people at the counter, and the dine in area was nice. We both had a hankering for Chinese and this did the trick, but the food was just okay(disclaimer: I’ve been off sugar and carbs for 2 weeks, so my taste buds could be off). I will say, the price was worth it. 2 Double meat, noodles, and a sweet tea meals for 14 dollars. If you got a stomach for some Chinese, this will do the trick.

The interior/exterior aren’t extravagant, but it’s immediately notice how clean they keep everything.

The staff is prompt courteous and answers all questions and is knowledgeable of the menu and pricing.

I had the moo goo gai pan and dumplings. It was fresh, and despite it being different (not typical silkening and white sauce) it was still good.

For it’s price speed and service u will be back.

I ordered ckn fried rice. It was $10.89 and it was horrible. no veggie. Just ckn and rice no seasoning. lady at window was unfriendly. All in All will never eat there again. And I love Chinese food. Chalk it up to bad experience.

Oriental Express has the BEST LO MEIN IN DOTHAN!!! I ordered the “House Lo Mein” which includes shrimp, chicken, beef, and pork, it TASTES FANTASTIC!! It was so good I had to do a review!! It’s enough to eat on twice..no worries !! The food is made to order, so it will be fresh!! So don’t get upset if it takes just a little while. There is also plenty of parking, and a huge dining lobby inside, if you decide to eat at the establishment. The menu is HUGE, with plenty of different options to choose from. I was blown away by the Lo Mein…try it.

We drove over to restaurant from Google map for dinner during rush hour around 5:30 on a Monday. Thought it was closed down so kept going and turned around to go home and realized it’s open. It was one car like maybe a worker’s car in parking lot. Two cars in drive through. The place looks run down really bad. Black mold on and around back door and outside walls. My kids did not want to eat there. So we went home and cooked dinner. I think the owners need to see what the customers see and clean it up a lot. They may have great food but it’s got to look clean on the outside to get new customers.

This business line is ALWAYS busy, making it impossible to place your order before arrival. Patrons park in front of the establishment blocking the drive-thru. I always order sweet & sour chicken, which comes with the sauce on the side, but I didn’t receive the sauce, and i live too far to go back.

General tsos chicken was decent and had a good sauce with it. The bourbon chicken was pretty good. It takes exactly like a chicken on the stick. Rice was not great. Tasty very mushy and not much flavor.
