This chinese food is by far the best in the north state! Its the only place I’ll buy chinese food.. I live 30min away,, always worth the drive. The portions are extremely generous, gorgeous presentation, pride in creation, and we are never disappointed trying new menu items.. If you’re passing through town and have an itch for some flavorful cuisine,, this is your scene.

Best Chinese food by far in shasta county. I come here all the time, and have been trying something new a lot of the times. I have yet to have something I don’t like. Everything on the menu is great. They are always quick, give huge portions, and are very reasonably priced!

They’ve moved to a great new space across from where they used to be. The serving sizes are incredible the quality is through the roof. We like to place an order to go and take it with but there’s plenty of room in the new shop to dine in. Highly recommended

I’ve been searching for my go-to restaurants since I got here. Then I learned that people drive from Redding to Shasta Lake for their Chinese food.
I cannot believe how much food they cram into the box. It’s literally the shape of the box when you open it. They must fill both sides and slam it closed.
Theres big chunks of quality vegetables and meat everywhere. This produce is fresh and it shows. It crunches, the celery CRUNCHES! It’s soooo delicious.
When I first heard about it, I wasnt sure, because they were in a building attached to a gas station. I was like idk bro… but yes, bro. Yes. It’s a testament to how good their food tastes. They graduated to a really nice location now, which is here.
The new dining room is beautiful with really lovely abalone artwork. It’s squeaky clean.

I’ve tried this place many times always ordering something different hoping to change my mind but it remains the same. Though the food comes out fast it is always very sub par, vegetables always very undercooked even when asked to cook them longer. They never drain the juices from the wok & it ends up all over inside the bag & EVERYWHERE. The beef is always chewy & grisselley & low quality. Nothing seems authentic what so ever & they are never friendly. Very overpriced & when I am paying $16 + drink + tip for a lunch combo I expect to get what I actually paid for & when I immediately noticed they gave me something else & I very nicely asked them to please correct it I heard a cook in the back make the sound of bringing up a loogey in the back of the throat, didn’t hear him actually spit it but it doesn’t matter weather it was just a threat or it actually happened. Hard to believe it was just coincidence. I definitely will never be back or support this business ever again.

The food was quite flavorless. We ordered vegetable chow mein, vegetable fried rice, Hunan shrimp, and hot & sour soup, and none of the dishes had much taste. Everything was served in takeout boxes with paper plates and plastic spoons, and the soup was given in a tall plastic container with small plastic cups to pour it into. Even the chili sauce wasn’t good.
The restroom also had no soap, and I’m not sure why they don’t use real cutlery or proper serving dishes—it didn’t feel environmentally friendly at all.

Great fresh food for a great price. You really get the full value you pay for. I got a pretty big order for Christmas Eve and it was a fantastic price for everything I got and we had more than enough left over.

Not bad at all, but not the best either! It hits the spot for Chinese take out. But was not super flavorful, nor the huge portions that reviews have said it is. The chow mein had barely any chicken or veg. Sesame chicken was good! I liked that it seems to be breast meat.

Also not bad. We ordered sesame chicken lunch special to go about a month ago. Got home and realized it was the wrong order and couldn’t just go back to return (We live near Shasta lake but not in Shasta lake). Called and let them know. I had to repeat about 5 times. The guy kept asking what it was we had got. It was some sort of spicy chicken with noodles and veges. but eventually said we could come back for a free replacement sometime and took my number for it. Went back in yesterday for it as we were driving by Shasta Lake, and gave them my number and they had to he info there on their system and already knew what my order was that needed to be replaced without me saying. Got my box in about 10 mins! Not bad because they were kind in action to replace it/make it right, but also felt a bit hard trying to explain and neither that day or when I went back in never apologized for the inconvenience.

Decent food but not for that price, we got a smoothie for 5.99 it was so small and not worth it, we also got a beef Broccoli, the broccoli was so hard and not cooked the rice tasted weird, and they also gave us no forks or napkins. Overall just not a good experience

I don’t know how this place has these reviews. I ask for a mango tea they gave me a mango smoothie. When I told her I had asked for a mango tea she said it comes blended, lmao. When did that happen, it clearly says in their menu mango tea with or with boba and underneath it it has smoothies. The was not good at all I only ate a bit because I was starving and even then I even caught some allergic reaction since my throat started feeling tight. Not sure what they are cooking with or if they cooked the calamari where they cook the shrimp. I also stated to her I was allergic to shrimp when she offered shrimp. I highly don’t recommend this place! I literally ate a bit of it after my long drive down from Tacoma, WA because I was hungry and already paid $31 and change for it. After I through the rest away which was almost everything and the smoothie as well. When they saw that they just said have a nice day lmao. Whatever! I don’t right much reviews but i needed to write this one!
