Loved this place. We were there for the lunch specials. I can’t imagine what the dinners look like. We usually look for a buffet. This was fresh and yummy. The service was nice. Hot and sour soup is the best in Topeka, daughter said the same. These pics look the same, but not.

Very neat place everything looks nice and clean when you walk in. The staff is very friendly. The food was great and a healthy portion. Egg drop soup was amazing. Everything was priced right. Definitely come back. They also have a drive thru.

I was extremely hungry and wanted to like it. First bite was delicious. I ordered honey shrimp and fried rice lunch special. Second bite I found PLASTIC fried into the shrimp. It seemed like a ripped BIG piece from a package & strands of hair. Disappointed.

Ordered my usual, got General Tso’s and crab rang, and then some, for just $11.58. Superb customer service and tasty food. Chicken wasn’t enough for leftovers like it is at some places, but that’s OK.

Had Oriental Express for the first time a couple weeks ago with a co-worker. We both raved about it. It was some of the best I’ve had in Topeka. I had the spicy pork with fried rice. So I was really looking forward to it tonight and ordered some takeout around 8pm, an hour before they closed. What I got was some of the worst I’ve had in a long time. The rice, which was perfectly cooked on my first visit, was over cooked and mushy. The spicy pork had a weird grainy texture and left a slimy film on my mouth. The egg roll was the only part I could enjoy from this meal, though it wasn’t crispy at all but still tasted ok. I am hugely disappointed since the first time was easily 5 star, but this last order was a 1. $18 and most of it went in the trash.

The staff was super friendly and the food is delicious! The lunch deal is outrageous, so much food for under 10 dollars! Got soup, entree, fried rice, egg roll and vegetable tempura. All delicious.

Great place! Only thing I’m upset about is how I didn’t know about this hidden gem for the few years I’ve lived in Topeka. My wife and I went there for a date last night and were blown away! Great service! Wonderful food and very fairly priced! We will be regulars.

Update: After picking up our food, got home and they charged us a dollar more for each meal. They charged us$2.00 extra. My husband went in and talked to them and they said the prices went up. Well, the menu we used did not reflect that. My husband told them to change their menu then….but like a parrot, she said the prices had gone up. Did not refund our money at all. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!

By far my favorite oriental restaurant in Topeka for both price and taste. They have great sushi that is decently priced. Their other dishes are awesome. But if there is one thing you should try, you should try their Singapore Noodles dish, it is so far my favorite dish there!
