Social Profile:

Organic Sandwich Company is an award-winning, locally-owned sandwich shop with two beautiful locations in Boulder and Louisville. Our roots began at the Boulder Farmers Market in 2014, and from there we made our way to a small shop on Pearl Street in Boulder and McCaslin in Louisville where we serve up house-made soups, salads, and of course sandwiches. We delight in using local fare from bakers, ranchers, farmers, and many Colorado food entrepreneurs as we believe that taste is just as important as the quality and source of our food.

The turkey and brie was SPOT ON with the hint of horseradish in the stone ground mustard perfectly balancing the sweetness of the honey mustard, while the tart green apple paired wonderfully with the brie. I’ve never had Tomato Fennel soup before but this was amazing. I practically inhaled everything – new favorite sandwich shop up here!

I got the turkey and Brie warmed up. The service was better here than the Boulder location. Staff seem to lack enthusiasm and seem like they’re just going through the motions. The bread was very hard and not necessarily enjoyable to eat. The sandwich was just okay, nothing to rant and rave about. I think it’s worth a try if you like sandwiches, but I most likely wouldn’t go out of my way to go back. Out of both locations I haven’t been very impressed. The business name seems to take advantage of the “Organic” buzzword and label. The sandwich also made my stomach hurt a hour or so after eating so I’m not sure why but you’d figure an organic sandwich would do the opposite of that. There’s certainly room for improvement all around. My sandwich also didn’t seem to have any Brie on it whatsoever which was confusing since the name of the sandwich was Turkey Brie.

Great sandwiches. High quality ingredients and delicious flavors. My only knock against them is that it feels a little too expensive for what I’m actually getting. But then organic is more expensive and comes with less quantity. Either way it’s delicious

Just picked up a spicy veggie sandwich for dinner and it was so dry. The pretzel bread seemed to be a day old. Unfortunately I was not able to eat it. It was a waste of money. Definitely won’t be going back.

Loved the Organic Sandwich Co. My husband and I were in Louisville for an event and were so excited to find a restaurant offering sandwiches with organic ingredients that are locally sourced. We each had a grilled sandwich and they were fantastic. Would definitely eat there again.

I’ve never been to a food establishment that didn’t have a bathroom.

The food was good. Sandwich was ok. Love that they use organic food quality stuff. Nice selection of treats & I really liked the tomato soup.

Stopped by for lunch. A nice variety of sandwiches will also serving a couple soups and salads. Price probably due to the organic label. I got the spicy chicken. Unfortunately it sure tasted like no hint of spice. It even was a bit bland with no sauce even detected making the sandwich feel dry. This might be a one off and there are a number of interesting sandwiches I would like to try so I will be back to give a second try and will update this review when that happens.

I came here with my 10 year old son on recommendation from Black Paw groomers next door. We had two hours to kill while our dog was being groomed. The atmosphere of Organic Sandwich Company is “happy”, according to my son. The tables are close together and give the restaurant a cozy, intimate feel. But the plentiful sunlight and bright decor, makes it not feel cramped. My son ordered the ham and cheese on pretzel bread. He thought it was delicious. I ordered the turkey and Brie sandwich on a baguette. The arugula is so fresh that it is overpowering – my suggestion would be to go lighter on the arugula in the future on this sandwich. The bread on my sandwich could have been a tad fresher. The sandwiches are nice and big! I could only eat half and even took the top of the bread off my half! I love how all of the ingredients are from local Colorado partners. I drank a craft-brewed Upstart brand Raw Kombucha and my son got lemonade. In the future, I’m going to try the Kombucha on tap. I didn’t know about it until I had already paid.

I’m absolutely in love with this place! Their sandwiches are hands down the best in Colorado. Every ingredient is fresh and high-quality, which makes both their sandwiches and salads incredibly tasty. Having lived in New York, I really miss great food — but this place brings it back for me. If you appreciate top-notch quality, I highly recommend giving it a try. Everything is delicious! Plus, they carry my favorite local drink, Doctor D’s, which is a bonus. Thank you for maintaining such high standards and integrity!
