Oreland Inn is an old school bar that has great prices and a wonderful unpretentious vibe. Great place to catch a game, good bartenders, great local crowd. I have only been there a few times but will come back again when I am in the area.

Haven’t been to the Oreland in over a year. Most recent visit was an unplanned stop on the way home. Glad we went. The Oreland has an old time local / corner bar vibe. Welcoming patrons. Good music playing. Good service. Our bartender, Megan, was great. We split a cheesesteak hoagie and fries that were both very good. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back.

Wanted to give the Oreland Inn a try.
We sat at the bar. Interior is fairly large and open. The bar is long and the chairs are spaced out nicely. Bartender Roxanne was very nice. Other patrons were friendly. Beer and wine selection was limited but sufficed. Had the French fries with Old Bay seasoning and a side of Wiz. They were done well. All in all a good experience. Will eventually head back for a second review.

Stopped in here for lunch on my way down from New Britain. I ordered a turkey club on rye toast and a Guinness. The turkey was fresh as well as the rye bread. Came with pickles and chips. Nice atmosphere for a weekday. Mostly local seniors enjoying themselves having lunch and hanging out. Nice daytime lunch experience. Going back there soon. Reasonable prices. Great Service.

Food is fantastic, the beer is cold, and the owner is equal parts host, historian, and scholar.

Cash only, but worth it.

Small neighborhood bar. Was nearly empty on a Saturday night. They have a successful APA team (or two) running out of there and a nice table with an expensive light. They reserve it for league play, but honestly don’t blame them when a bunch of 20 somethings come in. Bartender was cautious at first, but warmed up with some conversation. It was not a party bar, but they did kindly point us to one as our group was looking for music and a younger crowd. One star ding for cash only.

My previous review seems to have disappeared. I guess somebody didn’t like it. It’s an all boys club! Did not feel welcomed at all, service was poor at best. This is why I gave it one star and it really didn’t deserve that. Not a friendly place to stop for a casual drink.

I am the traveler. Unfortunately this place only takes cash, it looks like a nice little neighbourhood bar. But since I travel I don’t carry cash. I gave five stars because they already poured me a beer and did not charge me because I don’t carry cash. Very friendly. Place wish I could have tasted the food. Thank you for the beer.
