We dined at the Oregon Diner last night after the Savannah Bananas baseball game, and I have to say, the service was impressive. The staff was not only friendly but also attentive. The portion sizes? Enormous! They certainly know how to serve up generous helpings at the Oregon Diner.
I ordered the Pepper Jake burger, and it delivered; it was quite good. My wife, on the other hand, chose the chicken croquettes, which fell short of expectations due to an off-putting floral taste. These were far from the traditional chicken croquettes one would anticipate.
My oldest daughter opted for “dippy” eggs, specifically requesting them over light. Unfortunately, when they arrived, they were fried hard—definitely not what she expected. The rest of her meal was acceptable, though. My youngest daughter ordered spaghetti and meatballs and had a great experience with that dish.
Overall, I would classify it as a typical diner experience—three stars. The staff was commendable, the portions were generous, and the food was adequate. While it wasn’t anything extraordinary, I would not hesitate to return.

For dinner, I ordered the Sizzling U.S. T-Bone Steak, which came with multiple side choices. However, I expected it to be served on a sizzling hot plate, but it came on a regular plate. The steak tasted good, and I liked it cooked medium well. I would come again to try different dishes. Total cost is around $31.

I keep finding myself coming back to this place. I’m glad to see they did some remodeling inside the diner. It looks refreshing while maintaining that nostalgic feeling of a diner. Check it out and try their sandwiches with some coffee!

This is a must go must try diner in Philly. The food is affordable and the portioning is big and they have bread and pastries too. They’re a little sweet, but it’s good with coffee. The staffs are really nice and friendly. I got the broiled salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli and a side of scrambled egg a coffee and a juice for my son. I paid $30+ in total.

Only giving 2 stars because the breakfast is phenomenal otherwise you’d be getting 1 star. I recently ordered the meatloaf and it cost just over $17 and as you can see by the photo it is a criminal offense against an actual meatloaf dinner. Couldn’t even be bothered to cover the meatloaf in gravy. I could have bought a frozen meal with better taste and more gravy for a fraction of the cost. Please do better.
Edit: I tried to eat the meatloaf and half of it was burnt so I guess it did have some flavor. Downgrading to 1 star.

My husband, daughter, and I were in town to see Brandi Carlile and chose The Oregon Diner to grab a bite prior to the concert. We were immediately struck by the cleanliness of the dining room and tables. We were greeted by our phenomenal server, Janine. I have Celiac disease and have to be careful whenever eating out. This was especially important on that particular evening since we were seeing Brandi in concert. I definitely didn’t want to get sick during the performance. I shared my dietary restrictions with Janine and she explained that they didn’t have a gluten-free menu but that she would personally speak with the kitchen to make them aware. I ordered a burger without the bun and string beans. Janine said she would even ask the cook to clean the grill before frying my burger. I was so grateful! She certainly went above and beyond to make our pre-concert dinner a pleasant experience! Janine kept our drinks topped off and even noticed that I didn’t end up eating my string beans. They were cooked in a tomato sauce that I didn’t really care for. She explained that she would take the string beans off our bill since I didn’t eat them. We were so happy with our experience at The Oregon Diner and showed our appreciation with a well-deserved, generous tip. Janine actually ran out the door to catch us so that she could thank us for our generosity. Thank YOU, Janine!

Jackie delivered great service to our family last night. We arrived about 9p and were greeted and seated immediately. The booth was comfortable and the seating firm. We ordered the Tuna Salad Platter and Ravioli with Meatballs to share. We also ordered the Lima Bean and Italian Chicken soups- both were hot and tasty.
The portions were hefty and the prices were reasonable. Our daughter could not resist visiting the dessert counter and Jackie gladly packed us a slice of Strawberry Cream Cake to-go. The cake was light and had nice fresh strawberries throughout.
Altogether our experience was great and we will definitely consider returning to Oregon Diner in the future! Thank you!!

Went here after a red eye flight and liked it. Outside is a bit sketchy, but the inside has a real American diner feel. The waiter was nice, though sometimes she had a bit of trouble understanding us. I ordered a ham steak with eggs and I thought it was quite tasty. The food portions are HUGE though so just be warned.

There was plenty of parking. They sat as fast. Everything was very clean. The customer service was excellent great eye contact, just the right amount of attentiveness. My girl ordered cheesecake and I ordered a cheese steak with fried onions and extra meat. very tasty interesting twist with the long onions. Meat was flavorful and not too salty. I had totally forgotten about the Oregon diner, but not anymore. Definitely coming back.
