Nice vibe, friendly staff, pretty solid Thai food, fast service .
Been going to this place for years – old location and this one. The “Evil Jungle Prince” is awesome (broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, green cabbage, celery, snow peas, mushroom, red bell pepper, and onion in red curry and coconut milk).
This last visit I wanted to try their “Pork Drunken Noodle” at the spicy level (it’s not scorching hot btw) – nice flavoring though the thinly sliced pork ate a bit dry/chewy.
Also went with the “Chicken Pad Thai” which was good but needs an additional lime wedge for such a big plate. If you like a slightly sweeter pad thai to go against the heat, throw in a little of the sauce they use for the “Crispy Spring Rolls” (which are also good for an appetizer) it gives it another layer of flavor. Worth checking out.

I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu and mixed vegetables from Orchid Thai Cuisine, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced, the tofu was cooked beautifully, and the portion size was incredibly generous. You can truly taste the freshness in every bite.
The staff was also so welcoming and kind, and my food was ready within minutes — super fast and efficient service. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish.
If you love Thai food (or even if you’re trying it for the first time), I highly recommend Orchid Thai Cuisine. I’ll definitely be coming back! ✨

I have always wanted to check out this Thai place in downtown, and when I found out they had one in Rocklin with normal parking, was super excited!! The atmosphere was so fun and the food was delicious. Had to get their papaya salad, it was on point!! Fried calamari was super fresh and yummy. and of course the seafood red curry!! Mmm!

Absolutely not! WHAT is going on? I literally ate and rushed to the restaurant bathroom, to have massive diarrhea instantly, I thought oh, maybe it’s me, NO, my buddy who went with me less than a hour later, got home and has the same issue. I have continued to use the bathroom since leaving. I’m sorry but, for $71 where literally you praying your days where oh, don’t order on these days cause the pad Thai taste different than the other days because the difference between each chef. This used to be my favorite restaurant, raved about it, ate every week, and now, I have complete food poisoning where I didn’t or wasn’t able to walk out the door before it hit me so hard.

This place was great. Not sure if it was just me or maybe the time of day that visited but this place looks “fancy”. Not like “suit and tie” fancy but definitely miles above “Panda Express”. That being said, the atmosphere (I felt) was great, the staff was warm, inviting, helpful, and friendly… And the food was great. My Yellow Curry dish (Medium spice) was delicious. My wife wasn’t blown away by their Pad Thai so I subtracted one star for that. Aside from that, no complaints. We’ll definitely be revisiting Orchid Thai (aka the fancy thai) many times to come.

We were welcomed at the door. We went during lunch time and were seated immediately. The restaurant offers a full bar. Japanese cuisine so don’t expect to find a hamburger. The menu is a bit confusing. Consider the dishes more in line with sharing. You have to order rice separately. The food tastes good and you can tailor the spiciness to your liking, just be careful!! Spicy + is definitely and I love spicy.

We were sat right away, had our drink order taken quickly, then our food order. This was honestly the best Thai I’ve ever had. We have our favorite place and now it’s changed. Everything was delicious. Our kids tried the left overs and agreed too. We are not picky eaters but we like good food.

First-time experience. The restaurant was big and lovely. Full bar. The service was fast and friendly. The server really know the dishes so for someone like me who is very new to Thai food super helpful. The Thai ice was delicious all the dishes were hot and delicious. Will go again.

What a perfect place to grab something for dinner. Had the jingle curry, satay and crab fried rice. Everything was so tasty, it was piping hot but it tasted so good!! Definitely will be back!!!

The Food – The depth of the flavor, the quality, the presentation, the temperature of the food, the timing of the food being brought out and how quickly: All excellent and deserving of a rating higher than 5!
The Service – The greeting, the speed of the acknowledgment when we entered, the kindness, the friendly attitudes, the patience of the servers, the hospitality and checking in on us in a timely manner, refilling our waters, the knowledge of the food and spices, the helpful suggestions to alleviate my anxious indecisiveness, the checking on my preferences for my vegetarian preferences, the prompt cleaning of tables, the kind tone of voice. All are excellent and impressive for these young men and women.
The atmosphere – beautiful decor, plenty of seating, private feeling booths. The music was tolerable, not my taste, current hip hop/RNB, but tolerable. The servers singing to the music while cleaning was nice. The cleanliness of the bathrooms was tolerable compared to some other restaurants I’ve seen.
Comments – My wife and I really enjoyed our meal here today. I was looking for some vegetarian options to improve my health, and we were both happy. With such flavor and spice, here they made not eating meat very enjoyable!
I only wish they had smaller meal options at a lower price or some way to have less food with more variety at once so I can enjoy all the items I came for at a lower price and still eat all my food.
We tried going to a different Thai place just before this today, but we were craving the coconut milk flavor to balance the Thai spices. So we had to come here to Orchid Thai instead, since the other restaurant didn’t have it. Also, at the other Thai place, they sat a very loud group right next to us, although there were plenty of other seating, and I couldn’t even think. But thankfully, at Orchid Thai, it was very pleasant!
We will be coming to this place straight away next time we want Thai.
We both highly recommend this place.
They also have live music during the dinner rush Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from about 6pm to 8pm.
