The service was A1. I liked the special care I got from the moment I stepped inside to the moment I left. And we left 2 hours past the stated closing time.
However, my food did not taste good. The crispy duck tasted like chicken, the riceberry rice didn’t come with a sauce so I poured the sweet chili sauce, that came with the chicken all over it. Serious mistake.
The milkshake tasted wonderful but how can a milkshake taste bad? My friend ordered a mojito and she asked for it, frozen and strong. It didn’t come frozen and according to her, it was way too sweet.
I could eat my rice so I finished my friend’s pad thai. The duck I ate because despite the fact that I think it tastes like chicken, it’s meat and I like meat.
The dumplings were good. Not very crispy and the service once again was exceptional. Big kudos.
They were also very kid friendly when I visited…definitely worth visiting/experiencing!
I’ll be back. Also, the hostess and waiters were welcoming and attentive.
We had pork ribs and crab with chicken dumplings as starters and it was perfectly seasoned. Our main meals were delicious. And they came out without much delays. We had the Blue Orchid cocktail (banana is the main ingredient) and it tasted amazing.
I will definitely be back for a second, third and forever time. Try to be adventurous when you order. The food is so good, I’m sure you’d love anything you try. Leave rice alone for a second, okay?
I didn’t really like the service as much. The waiters weren’t that helpful. They just dropped the menu and left. I always like it when they give recommendations most especially when it’s a restaurant with food that Nigerians are not used too.
There are nice places to take photos. But the best seats are by the corner/wall because of the lighting. The lighting in the middle isn’t too great. Had to switch seats so my friends could take photos of me.
It’s also not to pricey. If you want to have a meal and dessert, go there with 20k because of additional expenses like VAT. If it’s just one meal depending on what you ordered, 13 to 15k would do. It’s very affordable.
The order didn’t take too long to arrive.
The female restroom was clean; however, they may need to change the rusty tap in the wash area.
Springrolls were very fresh and tasty but was a little oily as we had to drain the excess oil on it.
Food pricing was okay.
The music was giving Chinese vibes, transporting me to another world. The food was exceptional as well, particularly the main dish which was very different and nice. The portion sizes were generous.
However, I did encounter a couple of issues during my visit. Firstly, the restroom was relatively small, and unfortunately, the lock was missing at the time. Secondly, the waitresses who attended to us seemed hesitant to provide recommendations and accidentally missed one of our orders. Despite these minor setbacks, I still had a great time overall.
We came just before the kitchen closed and they were very accommodating. A family in the restaurant was celebrating a birthday, and it looked like every staff member came out to sing. It was very sweet. I would 100% recommend.
