Ever since this historic place has been revitalized by the new owners, two local families, the place is warm, with endless stylish touches, now filled with lively people feeling the good vibes. The quality of the food is unbelievable. The Caesar salad is my favorite. I can tell each ingredient is high-end, a major leveling up. Saturday night‘s cozy wine night is a chic city experience by the seaside. I hear they are already booking out their larger event. space with weddings and gatherings.

Great location and great views – close to the ferry terminal. We found Avocado Sandwich just amazing! It was the only egg-free vegetarian dish.

This is a cafe with limited baked goods and menu. That said, my wife’s blueberry scone was very good and my homemade curry chicken soup was absolutely delicious!

A welcoming place for your first stop after your ferry ride to enjoy breakfast or lunch. The food is delicious and homemade. The soup of the day was excellent, as well as the cheddar biscuit and exceptional cookies ! A great atmosphere to enjoy a relaxing glass of wine before your return ferry ride.

One of the best, serene breakfasts of my life. The breakfast sandwich and hot chai were sublime. Eating on the front porch in the warm sun on a Jan morning started the day off perfectly. The staff was amazing, accommodating our ferry schedule to hold our Sunday pot pie a day. My friend got their porches egg and bread with jam. The homemade jam was good enough to ask to take a container home which the kitchen staff were so sweet to do.

Wonderful! I was tired and the ferry I was due to take was canceled. I was allowed to stay past close and I felt very welcomed, and I also hand an excellent dinner!

I’m really considering having my next bday here. Thanks again for the hospitality, the atmosphere was great.

Best view for coffee on the island. I arrive early to the ferry so I can grab a cup of coffee and some food. It overlooks the ferry dock so you can see your ferry coming in from a relaxing, historic venue. Great front porch for the warmer months. New owners have really upgraded the menu and quality of baked goods. We had a gluten free torte that was delicious.

One of the best meals we had on Orcas! Simple and delish. We had the kale and sausage soup, perfect for a cold winter day. Beautiful view while waiting for the ferry, will happily return next time I visit.

Good food, decent prices for island fare, the staff are always friendly, the music playlists are usually good, and if you’re very lucky and the sun is out you’ll see the hotel cat

Great breakfast burrito while waiting for the ferry.
I ate at the cafe / counter service side. Decent menu (posted).
The barista was accommodating and well versed.
We hung out on the porch rocking chairs and waited for the ferry to come in.
