Extremely poor customer service experience. Apparently, it took a half hour for OrangeCrate to even place my order with the restaurant. Then, about two and a half hours later, I called inquiring about the status of my order, was lied to about the status (I was told it had been delivered, even though the driver still had not picked up the order), and was lied to about OrangeCrate’s communications to me “informing me the order would be delayed.” I was also charged for a tip without even being told about it ahead of time or ever authorizing the charge. While happy to leave tips generally, those are due for services rendered, and a three hour delivery was absolutely unreasonable.
Sadly, I wasn’t given a choice of delivery service when placing an order with the restaurant directly. However, I certainly will make a point not to use OrangeCrate again.

I ordered from a local place via the new Google pay beta app which uses this delivery service. They charge more for delivery, but my first order arrived promptly. The second time I ordered (same restaurant, same single-item order), it took them 3 hours. My food was cold and stale, like it had been sitting. I’m not planning on using their services again.

The worst. Do NOT use this company. 2 hours later and I have to call to figure out where my food is. The restaurant had no clue either as my food was ready for pickup. And they got my order wrong. I noticed their receipt was different than the restaurant receipt so I called the restaurant to make sure I received the correct order. If I could give Orange Crate negative stars, I would. Horrible.

Used them for the first time, ETA said 12:33 so I called and got the status the rep was very nice told me my food would be about 20 minutes late, it was and it came hot and as fast as it can, I got many updates about my delivery I was very pleased about the process. Happy Tummies over here!!

Awesome service for when you want delivery from places that don’t normally deliver or you just don’t have the time to make the trip yourself. The employees I’ve met are very pleasant and professional. I will definitely recommend to my co-workers and friends in the Anchorage area.

Billed 13.00 in delivery fees(not including tip) on a restaurant labeled as “free delivery”. Then the purchase hit my account with an even higher amount then I had authorized. Completely disappointed and appalled.

Buggy app. Screens load and re-load automatically several times in a loop. Fields are asked for several times in a row, even after been filled. Overall very poor performance of the app. Seems like they don’t have a big enough engineering team to fix it.

They are just another delivery service and i have not had good luck with them. When I tried them the food was always late and cold. I would not recommend this service, I have resorted to sending a runner to pick up from local restaurants as an alternative to this service.
