The lady who said the pita was dry clearly didn’t know what she was talking about. This place slaps. Always consistent, always good. Service feels like home, and the food hits every time. Sad the clam chowder’s wasn’t that great, but the OP pita and coney dog were both solid. $25 for lunch isn’t bad at all. Get there before 11am for the good deals.

Another small hole in the wall restaurant that are always far better then big places.
Only open for breakfast and lunch and nearly always a line to get in. Locals love the place tucked in behind a drug store.
Food is great and you get a lot which makes the slightly higher prices easier when you have enough for a second meal later.
Still a regular spot a year later for the reasons above.

Went in this morning for breakfast with a family member. Waited in line for 10 minutes only to have the waitress come out in the lobby and tell me the owner refused to serve me based on a prior review that was posted on Macomb eats about a hamburger lunch I had with my son. I commented on how expensive it is to eat out these days and things are not the same…I was told the owner was upset because of it and did not want us patronizing their establishment. Well guess what? Now here is your google review… I would leave no stars if I could. If you don’t like customers reviewing your establishment, maybe you should close your doors. Feedback is very important and based on other complaints your service and food is sub par compared to what it used to be. Keep losing customers. Way to go!!

I said last time “that would be my last”! Well, being that it’s convenient, I thought I would try again. BIG MISTAKE! I ordered fries and cheeseburger and a coke. The burger was good, the fries were awful. I asked my waitress regarding them. The waitress said the oil needs to be changed and she knew about it. Then change the oil! My waitress offered to take the fries back but I said I will try to make due. What is uncomfortable though, is the fact she made it obvious to her friends who she was working with, to be sure they charged me for the order of fries if I ate them. They all turned around to see if I was going to eat the fries. My waitress came back to my table. I asked her if she was talking about me? She responded back with, she’s getting ready to leave and wanted to be sure I was charged for the fries if I ate them. Of course I would be paying for them if I ate them. Instead of watching me to see if ate a fry, they should of been more worried about their coworker sleeping in the booth behind the cooler in the first booth closest to the counter! I told my waitress that was rude to be talking about me over fries. She thought it was funny. I will NOT return after this again.

It’s pricey for what it is, but always a good experience. One of the best omelettes out there. Also.. And stay with me…. Their almond boneless chicken meal is literally better than any Chinese food place… So good!

I’m in town for a wedding, and wanted to find a little hole in the wall to get a quick bite and quietly read for a moment.
My plate was full, the food was good, the prices fair, and the ladies seemed to know everyone who walked in, and wanted to know the rest. Couldn’t ask for more than that.

If this was a repost I would give them a Ten.Been going there ever since they have opened and Western omelette guy.and there BIGGG. Everything is very good always busy and the service is awesome.there is a wait for a seat but get there early .it took me two days to eat the whole omelette. You’ll see the portions of the food their big. Big variety breakfast everybody in the family will be happy they can get what they want they haven’t. Happy Eats.
