Within this humble eatery lies some of the best Afghan food I have had in this country. Their Kabuli Pulao dish of seasoned rice with lamb shanks topped with caramelized carrots and raisins had a perfectly balanced yet complex flavor combination of savory, spice-y, and a touch of sweetness. Even their fried chicken stood out being some of the juiciest and well seasoned I have had in the area. Not to mention, the prices are extremely affordable especially given the quality and quantity of food that is served. This family run, father-son operated restaurant is truly a hidden gem that bolsters delicious food, courteous service and authentic tastes that will transport you to Afghanistan!
