I’ve eaten at Orange Deli for nearly 20 years and always enjoyed their food, but on my last visit, they charged me $1 for tartar sauce on my chicken. After years of loyalty, that small charge was disappointing and felt like poor customer service. The food is still good, but this new policy has ended my long relationship with the place.

The new Worker gave my aunt crab sticks instead of scallops and I asked for Hot sauce on my fried mushrooms and I got barbecue sauce. She should not take orders or mess with meals until she’s fully trained. I love the food there. It’s just the energy sometimes.

I used to enjoy it when I first moved to Delaware but after my order today, I’m not impressed. Wings were not totally done, fries were bland and the seafood salad consisted of ALL initiation crab meat with not a baby shrimp in sight oh and they had a vinegary taste to them. Again, more lackluster Delaware food!!!!!!

I wish they’d stay open later, but other than that, it’s a regular convenience store. Always clean and well stocked – they’ve never once been out of what I needed! Any miscommunication is always smoothed out politely.
I really admire how efficient the employees are at ringing up customers. They have 3 different lines for lottery, food orders, and other purchases – a great system IMO. They clearly understand that people want to be in and out as quickly as possible, and always seem to pay close attention to which customer is next in line, which I really appreciate. Even when it gets super busy, they’re much better at managing things than most convenience stores.

These folks help me relive my eating experiences from the 90s when I mostly ate at the Fry Korner on Concord & Market in Wilmington. My sister put me on to this place. The only complaint I have is that the crab stuffed shrimp that I order from there always seem to have a smell after I bite into them…like it’s a bit “off” or something is about to turn. Aside from that, everything else is delicious.

The food is great! They have everything you need! Food drinks lottery cigarettes, earrings lol etc… The staff isnt the friendliest but I think they are like that because of the location so they feel they have to be like that!
