What’s not to love about this place! Family owned, great people ~ wonderful food EVERY single time we go. Atmosphere is always great and we consider them friends now that we are regulars! No other Mexican restaurant even comes close ~ don’t waste your time going somewhere else! Food is prepared fresh every single day, your drinks never run out and there’s so much on your plates, it’s rare we leave without to go boxes. Go if you haven’t already been! *Pics are from several of our visits.

Orales is most definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Asheville and the surrounding areas. We have already been there several times, and each time has been Excellent. Orales is a local family owned restaurant, not a chain, which is always a plus. The whole family works there. Everyone there is extremely nice and accommodating. The wait never has been long at all. It’s a big and very attractive restaurant. They never rush you so you can have a nice relaxing meal. The Top Shelf Margaritas are absolutely excellent, especially when they are prepared by Teresa. Teresa is the mother of the family and is one of the very nicest people you could ever meet. Anyway, back to the food, the chips, bean dip, queso, and salsa bar are all great. As far as entrees go, so far, we have had the chicken, shrimp, and steak fajitas (Texas Fajitas), the #4 Combo, the Bandera Enchiladas, and the 3 Meat Burrito. All have been Excellent! My favorites are the 3 Meat Burrito and Texas Fajitas. The portions are large and the food is fresh. It’s not like some other Mexican restaurants where something like the Fajitas comes out in 3 minutes on a sizzling skillet, but you can tell they were prepared earlier and put in a microwave. I highly recommend Orales and cannot say enough good things about them. The only thing I don’t like is that this is another one of those restaurants that charge for not paying with cash.

This is a quality family owned Mexican restaurant! The inside is massive and really well decorated. We got street tacos (one each of carnitas, steak, and chicken), a quesadilla, and the 3 meat burrito. The beer was served ice cold! They have a great salsa bar off to the side that has good options for us spice lovers. The avocado crema was awesome too.

We stopped for dinner, first time here. Friendly, attentive servers and great salsa with an added salsa bar. We had shrimp quesadillas (lots of big shrimp) and fish tacos. Both were delish. We had Dos Equis amber with a 32 oz size, on special. Hubby said restrooms were clean, too. Loved the fancy decor…it’s stunning. Cleanliness rating is 98.5. Give this place a try!

Let me tell you.. this is the BEST Mexican food I have ever had!! So much love and effort goes into every dish and drink and you can tell that the employees want you to enjoy it. Do yourself a favor and come here, your taste buds will thank you!! Teresa is the sweetest server, 1000/10 recommend!!! (Couldn’t even take a picture of my meal when it came out because it was too good I had to try it!)

We stopped in for lunch and were blown away! We ordered Street Tacos with Chipotle sauce, Chicken Spinach Quesadilla and Beef Enchilada lunches. The portions were huge and the prices were great (our bill was less than $30 before tax). The service was excellent and food arrived super fast, everything tasted fantastic. Definitely try the bean soup (came with the street tacos). Wish we had this quality of Mexican food in our Eastern Virginia hometown.

Top notch “Home style” Mexican food that definitely stands out from all others. This is a must try place to eat. The staff are a hard working family that has tons of experience in the food industry coming together from multiple well known eateries to form their own family style Mexican food. We were told this is the way they cook it for themselves at home and I believe it!!! With so many choices today it’s hard to find a place that stands out but these folks did just that by putting that little extra effort to be great not just average. We will definitely be coming back for more. Give these folks a try and visit them soon.

AMAZING AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD!!!!! 5 stars can’t even define how good their food is. Margaritas are made with fresh lemons and limes. The seasoning on the food is perfect. This is a MUST TRY!!!!! You will not be disappointed!!!! Please give this restaurant a try!!! Give feedback
