I am no avid fan of sushi; I typically avoid Asian cuisine. However, my friends wanted to try sushi while we were in LA so I volunteered to go. Based off their reactions, I would say the sushi was pretty good here. I enjoyed the hurricane roll pictured here. It was so crunchy and the sauces were great.

The Omakase for couple was fantastic because it’s rare to find lobster sashimi. That alone is worth the ticket and everything was fluff. The first course is the fish sperm that I could skip. The carpaccio of death was the second course. Don’t let them serve that. It tasted like death. Went back another day for a nigiri session. They were all pretty decent. Due to the location the price is higher than other joints in Little Tokyo. Some fusion dishes were pleasant to the taste buds. Definitely not the best sushi I have had but this close to home, sometimes this place is a quick fix when I’m looking for some quality. Definitely choose the omakase if you’re going.

My absolute favorite sushi spot in SGV! My boyfriend and I come here at least once or twice a month because of how much we love the sashimi here. The toro is melt in your mouth, and they never skimp on the Uni.

I’ve been coming here since pre-pandemic, and the quality is still great! A bit pricey but the quality is good. Service varies, as there have been times staff have been attentive, and other times where they are not (even when it is not busy). Definitely worth a try when you’re craving sushi!!

Best Japanese food in the area that I’ve had; hands down. The sushi and seafood is always fresh. Be sure to try the omakase if you want your world to be rocked.

I haven’t been here for many years. It was renovated during the epidemic. The sea urchins in Santa Barbara are delicious.

I have to say we only went here after the place we were planning was full. We saw the reviews and we’re let down. We got rolls so maybe that was the issue idk but the tablet to see the menu was dirty, towels on the floor into the kitchen? I probably don’t want to know the purpose for these. Staff was very friendly just no reason to come back
