Always make a booking for weekends as this is a beautiful and amazing restaurant.
The food is great.
Most recent visit I had: soft shell crab, salt & pepper squid, chicken won ton, and massaman beef curry.
Bottles of Asahi , red wine and an After Seven cocktail.
Very highly recommended.

Really delicious Asian food with wonderful staff and a nice atmosphere! The prawn toast was absolutely delicious (though I would have liked a bit more of the delicious sauce to dip them in). The satay dumplings were incredible as was the tofu.

We also had the duck pancakes which were perfectly cooked and served with a flavoursome hoisin sauce. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice Asian fusion! Main dish sizes are not too big. Dim Sums are nice small sharing plates, I made the mistake of confusing them with dumplings, only dims sums with dumplings/gyoza etc written are as such (duh in hindsight). Egg fried rice was good.
Staff seemed new but nice.

I had dinner here with my wife and daughter, it was a Saturday night and the place was very busy , the staff were super friendly and the service was amazing considering how busy the place was . The food was also very good and we all enjoyed it . The only downside was the noise , it was so busy but that would not put me off going again

Food was decent if you are craving for Chinese / Asian cuisine in Glasgow badly.

We ordered the hot and sour soup, sweet and sour pork, stir fried broccoli and yam rice – would highly recommend getting the yam rice it was really fragrant and I believed they might have use glutinous rice.

Service was good too with the FOHs helping to clear the plates on time.

We visited Opium Glasgow a few days ago and had an incredible experience. It is easily one of the best Asian fusion meals we have tried in the city.

The dim sum was absolutely delicious, beautifully made and full of flavour. The rice cooked in lotus leaf was a real highlight, comforting and aromatic, and it truly tasted like something we would have eaten in Asia. The tofu dish and the fish were both outstanding, rich in flavour and perfectly balanced.

Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, from the food to the excellent wine selection, which paired wonderfully with the dishes. Opium delivers authentic flavours with a refined touch, and it is a place we will happily return to. Highly recommended.

Had a really nice meal here. Extensive vegetarian options which is great. Had the aubergine clay pot and it was amazing. Staff are super lovely and the place has a really nice cozy vibe.

Edit: came back and had a really lovely time again, had lovely meals and the drinks were great too!

Would recommend the Shanghai tofu, sweet potato dumplings and braised pork!

It was a family gathering and food was amazing. We ordered 5 types of dim sums and separate main dishes. All of them are really good. Price was bit high but worth every penny.

When you walk into a restaurant and feel like a customer is important and how it should be. Great attention from the start and it just got better. The restaurant staff were dressed authentically and it was lovely to hear them chatter away in their native tongues. Always noticing the customer and providing prompt service noticing detail like napkins drinks etc. food was outstanding very flavoursome and no hint of msg felt unprocessed and made and beautifully presented with care. Drinks were made well and presented as they should be. Very necessary experience and would visit again. Music was background good would prefer authentic cultural music but that may be just me. Good number of female cooks in the restaurant also which is unusual:
