Party of 2 went for dinner around 7pm on a Thursday in December. We were seated inside immediately, did not need a reservation in advance. We had the bruschettone appetizer, the vegetariana pizza, and the torta del nonno chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and seemed healthy. The appetizer had two long slices of bread, so easy to share for us. The cake felt very heavy – lots of flour I guess. The server was very friendly, and we didn’t have to wait too much. The place was pretty full around 8-8:30pm. Total including tips and taxes came to around 30 bucks per person. The pizzas are around 10 inches in diameter, and come with 6 slices. I think we had the exact right amount of food for 2 people with our 3 courses.

This was such a nice find a few steps away from the hotel we were at. I’m almost sad to say it was nearly empty in there…the food and service were top notch. My friend ordered iced tea which they didn’t have, and they promptly brewed a whole new carafe just for him.

The bruschetta was very traditional: just seeded tomatoes, basil, garlic, and olive oil on grilled bread. Delicious! But the real star was the Tortelli Di Granchio. The crab and shrimp stuffing was flavorful and delicate; the sauce was absolutely incredible. Such an interesting combo of flavors with thyme, rosemary, and sage…it went so well with the pasta.

We also had limoncello cake for dessert; super lemony but not overpowering. We wanted baba, but our waiter let us know that they won’t be serving it anymore because it was too hard to source.

Reservations are highly recommended. We came here on a weeknight before we went to the Civic Theatre for a show. It was full so luckily we had made reservations in advance. Those who didn’t have reservations were seated outside on their patio. It was a cold evening too.

Our waitress was attentive but she was very busy running around that evening. It looked like she was the only server when we were there. I was afraid that our food might take awhile but that was not the case. We were both pretty happy with our meals.

The food is amazing. I had the Nochi Asiago and it was so full of flavor. My wife had the Ravioli Fattore, which she very much enjoyed, and the tiramisu was wonderful. Adding the excellent service, I highly recommend Operacaffe.

Wonderful little Italian restaurant. The staff was great! The food was all delicious and priced appropriately. I really enjoyed my carbonara and the prosciutto and burrata was delicious. The order of calamari was much larger than expected too! Would happily come back when in town

Love, love, love their unique menu selections. Pizza eas great and I don’t even like pizza. The pasta, all of them were so delicious. And the desserts were fanatically phenomenal! You have to try it to know. What a great get together and a great food that we shared! Great job!

The food here is absolutely spectacular. We had the Arancini and Tortellini with King Crab and the Gnocchi and a Limoncello Cake. Everything was amazing. The depth of flavor in the sauces was incredible. The Marinara with the arancini was probably the best I’ve had. 10/10 would recommend.

The service was great, thanks to a supervisor who did an excellent job. The food was somewhat mixed: the pizza (fluffy and crunchy simultaneously) and salad were tasty, but the salmon was not cooked properly. It was initially undercooked and then overcooked. Although they kindly offered to redo the fish, it was already late, so I kept it.

The sauce for the fish, a white wine reduction, tasted plain and sour, indicating that the reduction process may have gone awry.

The atmosphere was fine, and the restaurant wasn’t too crowded. Other guests we chatted with seemed very happy and excited about their meals, which included pasta and ragout.

In summary, if you’re looking for pizza, pasta, salad, or creamy sauce dishes, you might have better luck with those options.
