Opera House is still open even though there is a power outage. We will still have cold sandwiches, baked goods, and salads. Jane Hammond and 2 others.

The store is amazing! They have homemade meat seasonings, custom-cooking balsamic and so much more. You have to stop by and try the restaurant inside also. We are staying in a suite upstairs. Which is also fantastic. If you get a chance stay here..

Ordered a BLT sandwich, not toasted. They serve it on toasted focaccia bread. The bread was extremely greasy. Hardly any lettuce. One over ripe tomato. Pics show the excess grease everywhere. Worst I ever had. Taco time was closed and so was the espresso joint on a Tuesday mid day in the heat of Tourist season. So we were stuck here trying to get a healthy lunch. ☹️

Update: went back in today and tried sausage breakfast burrito, ravioli, classic italian sandwich, and a roast beef sandwich. All the food was fantastic. the staff was friendly and we enjoyed our visit!

Stopped in to check the store out. Focused on quality food items. They have a large selection of flavored oil and vinegar pairings. In addition they have many recipe cards which will use the oil and vinegar pairings. Recipe cards are free and there are more online. They have a good selection of spices. One in particular we loved was Larry’s family seasoning which could be used to season practically any dish – a season all. We tried a spanakopita and thought it was very tasty. They also have grab and go sandwiches, freshly prepared sandwiches and a salad bar priced per pound. The owner and staff are all very friendly and we really enjoyed stopping in. We will be back.

Short: if you love food, genuine foodie- you’ll love the food and baked goods
Long: stopped here randomly, cute and very chic vibes. Lady told me best sandwiches in town and she didn’t lie. Homemade bread sandwiches on thick foccacia bread with balanced flavored pickled onion, loved the turkey avocado. Brownie had the perfect top layer crunch with that delicious dense brownie texture I look for in Homemade brownies. Got an assortment of other baked goods and can’t begin to explain the flavorful taste, texture and obvious love put into the food. Top notch bakery I’ve been to in years- will definitely come back and recommend!

Stopped in for a bit of bread and left with so much more. The artisanal oils were awesome and I appreciated being able to sample them before buying. The focaccia was AMAZING and I really enjoyed the kale Caesar salad. The shopkeeper was really friendly and I appreciated her hospitality.

Loved the atmosphere! The olive oils and vinegars they stock are so good! I like that you can try them first before buying. Our sandwiches were great.

Fantastic Italian sandwich with perfectly baked focaccia bread. I suggest ending it with one of their baked goods (milk chocolate toffee cookie was great).

The cashier was friendly and helpful with her suggestions. Great for takeout, but they do have two tables inside as well. There’s also a small store with home decor, small batch olive oils, and other items.

Super cute store. We had breakfast in Kemmerer and were glad we discovered the Opera House Store. The historic building has been restored and redecorated so tastefully. It is a treat to go in, look around, and enjoy the ambiance. They sell pastries, cookies, breakfast sandwiches on focacia bread, gourmet meats, specialty olive oils, and vinegars, as well as cute local and Wyoming gifts. If you find yourself in Kemmerer, make sure to stop by.

We had already planned on going to another place for dinner when one of the friendly and helpful employees stopped to talk to us as she was propping up the “open” banner. Due to her friendly attitude, we decided to walk around the shop. The other darling employee working came out to greet us and was equally inviting and helpful. Who goes to a bakery and asks if they have anything gluten free? Apparently I do. I have a sensitivity to gluten and asked for a sandwich without the bread. They happily complied and even remembered to give me the sauces on the side. My husband and day also ordered sandwiches and the food was delicious. Fantastic food, fun possible purchases, decorated charmingly, and attentive staff made for a wonderful change of plans.

This store is awesome. It has a little bit of everything. Great place for baked goods and a quick lunch. Also has great cooking supplies that you’re not going to find at the average grocery store. Also has some home goods and local apparel.
