Great beer selection, great snacks (japanese “ozaka pans” are tasty – and pretzel is incredible). Super comfy living room feel to the place.

Visited on 7/9/22 – welcoming and friendly owner / staff. The owner played a couple games with us as well. I had the two sours, which were on point!

Low or dim light compared to other places that are just too bright for my taste and the music wasn’t too loud. It’s nice when you can actually have and hear the conversation you’re having.

They do have food on the menu, but we didn’t order any. While we were playing a board game, the owner came around and brought us popcorn! We didn’t ask for it but it was well received!

I would highly recommend this place and will be going back.

Thank you for the great experience!

Fun street with several quality places, but this is a review of Rusty Goat, which stupidly doesn’t have it’s own website. Great place! Many fine beers on tap, spacious, pleasant atmosphere, good service, yummy Japanese snack food.

Very cool point of interest in downtown tacoma. Lots of cool little quirky bars shops and hidden restaurants. It hidden enough that doesn’t have the masses filling the street but busy enough that your not worried that your walking down some dingy dangerous alley. Good lighting and the business have some interesting decor exterior lighting/ paintings. Theres a few hidden spots along here that i have heard about like a rum bar but haven’t been to yet.
