It’s pure country—deer mounts, ducks on the walls, and that old-school Southern feel that immediately puts you at ease. The food fit the vibe perfectly: chicken-fried chicken, fried tenders, burgers, beef steak, and an amazing spinach and artichoke dip served warm in a bread bowl with homemade chips. Straight-up comfort food, done right.
Everyone in the place—except us—was in camouflage, which somehow made it feel even more like home. It didn’t feel touristy or staged. It felt real.
What really surprised us was the back side of the restaurant. You’d never know it was there, but it opens into a bar—and it was packed late. We arrived just before closing, and the hostesses were incredibly kind and welcoming. People stopped to talk to us. It felt personal and genuine.
The whole experience felt like sitting around a kitchen table at home—comfortable, familiar, and full of character. We absolutely loved it.
Then she had the audacity to start putting down one of the outher guy at the table that had left already do not spend your time and money at this place it’s an absolute joke o and she singed my recipe for my credit card. Don’t waste your time and money.
It will be a very long time before returning!
TL:DR
Got this recommendation from a local, and it didn’t disappoint. Exceptionally friendly service, great food. The only mild disappointment was dessert – molten lava cake and the skillet cookie were just okay.

Here on a weeknight during work travel, and heard from a local this was the place to be. It has great themed decor (so many deer racks mounted… don’t go if you are offended by animal trophies.)
The menu was wide and has quite a few delicious sounding dishes. I ended up with the Diablo Burger, which was wonderful – the elote dip on top was amazing!
We had the spicy cheese bites (Wonderful!) and the spicy pickle bites, which I was assured were very tasty.
The chicken dishes seemed to get the most attention, which everyone who had strips or sandwiches raving about how juicy and delicious it was.
We ordered a couple of desserts, and that was the only disappointing part. The skillet cookie was dry, and the molten lava cake was only mediocre.
Our server was wonderful and attentive, and the whole experience was great overall – will visit again when in the area!
