Fantastic authentic Asian cuisine done right. The options show a blend of dishes distict to Chinese culture as well as some from other Asian countries. The portions are generous and priced well and Rafael gave great suggestions and showed knowledge of the dishes. I had the skillet with chicken and fried rice (highly recommend). The bottom layer is egg and all ingredients were fresh and delicious. I also had a side of the kimchee which was great and the Thai eggplant was savory with a flavorful sauce. I was very impressed and look forward to going again. I was told they do cart service on weekend mornings for lunch as well.

We visited OpenRice and had the Peking Duck, and it was absolutely excellent. The duck was full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and clearly the highlight of the meal.
The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the atmosphere is fantastic – stylish, welcoming, and very comfortable. You can tell that a lot of care goes into the overall experience.
The owner is also a very friendly and approachable guy, which really adds a personal touch and makes the visit even better.
An excellent dining experience all around. Easily a five-star restaurant and highly recommended.

The Dim Sum is not as good as New York Chinatown. The Roasted Duck ,I give it a 5 star . The Seafood Fried Rice on castor iron is a disappointment. It has no seafood taste in the rice . I was really looking forward on that dish. Me and my boyfriend drove an hour to that restaurant . Our bill is over $100. It is not worth it . Don’t mind paying high price if the food is good .

Carts on weekends. Char siu bao are good compared to other places. Not the biggest, but uniform quality. Siu mai and har gow are good quality, not tiny.
Staff was very courteous. There is saying: “you don’t go to Chinese restaurants for the service, you go for the food.” This place has good service.
I have had dim sum in DC, New York, Vancouver, Hong Kong, etc.

I absolutely love this place! You feel like you’re in Asia. The food is amazing and so is the service. I have only tried the Dim Sum during the weekend but definitely plan on coming back to taste all their menu

The fried rice is some of the best in the city. The double fried dan noodles were a pleasant surprise. They were crunchy and delicious. The service was excellent. The restaurant was really nice and offered tons of options.

I visited Open Rice for the first time last Friday. The atmosphere is really cute and cozy. I ordered general tso, really simple and classic Chinese meal. It was delicious, I had enough to enjoy dinner and lunch the next day. The waiter was great, checked in on us just enough. I’ll be back and maybe next time I’ll try an entirely new dish to me.

Very good dim sum for lunch. Had most of my favorites on the dim sum menu. Did not know where this was located then found an unassuming outside entry in a corner, until we went in and to find a modern clean airy restaurant. Lots of good menu options. Would come again to order from the main menu. Super friendly service and hospitable.

I’ve been meaning to try this place out for a year and finally decided to go during Labor Day weekend, of course I got several items since dim sum is offered, and the boba tea. I usually get sesame chicken, because it’s a staple at most Asian restaurants, and the true test is if it tastes good. This was cooked exactly right with light breading, just enough sauce and not too hard or soft for chicken texture. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again!! It’s exactly what I was craving!

The concept of appetizers going from table to table was different but understanding (food presentation attract the eye and awakens the taste buds curiosity). The food was very flavorful and plentiful. The customer service was great and everyone was very attentive. Plenty of seating and the ambiance was nice. Children’s menu and vegan menu available. This is a must do if in town!
