Some meals you forget before the coffee arrives… And then there are meals like this, that decide to take up permanent residence in your memory.
The gazpacho was a lively overture, each spoonful a cool whisper of summer. The vegetable dish came cloaked in a sauce of rich, layered depth – velvety and full-bodied – drawing its cast of ingredients into a harmonious finale. The fish was a quiet marvel: feather-light yet deeply satisfying, crowned with the bright originality of mustard ice cream, which danced on the palate like an unexpected encore. Even the bread that accompanied was crunchy yet full-bodied, melting softly in the mouth. For my ever-curious food palette, it was a lunch of discovery and delight. I can’t wait to try the evening show!
To the two chefs and owners: Bravo, and thank you for reminding me why dining can still feel like magic!
