Family style service of the listed starter options for the day, then each person gets their own entrée.
The food is good quality and quite plentiful with the starters, so if you choose this Simple Supper option, come hungry.
The cocktails are good, I enjoyed the Opal G&T, a flavorful and refreshing combination of cucumber gin and elder flower tonic (pictured).
The food was good, the scallops were well prepared (pictured). The staff helpful and friendly without being cloying or overly familiar.
I’d like to return and try more options on the menu.
We arrived early to set up and the staff were already there helping arrange the tables, offering suggestions, and making sure every detail looked beautiful. They even opened the bar early so we could relax with drinks while getting settled. The private room itself is stunning, with the same charm as the main restaurant and a perfect backdrop for photos.
The food and drinks were exceptional — guests are still talking about how good everything was. What stood out most was how flexible and welcoming the team was. There were no extra fees for customization, and they made the entire night feel effortless and special.
This was truly one of the best birthday experiences I’ve ever had. Opal is a hidden gem, and I can’t recommend it enough.
The staff members at this restaurant were very professional and helpful. The level of service offered was noteworthy, from the manager to the server to the staff from the kitchen that delivered our food. A big thank you to the entire team for delivering a seamless and consistent great experience.
The food was delicious. The eggs benedict were made perfectly and the taste was on point. The smash burger was a solid burger cooked and seasoned to perfection. The only critique I have is that the fries that accompanied the burger could’ve been served better — I found that the temperature of the fries were a little on the colder end and not as crispy as I was expecting. The seasoning was good, however!
The best part of the meal was the dessert — the tiramisu and the key lime pie. Both were delicious and definitely worth the order.
Overall a great experience both in terms of service and food. Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere to visit in the area! Hoping to return for dinner some time soon!
Food was delicious! Highly recommend the Maine Lobster Ravioli, Clams with Saffron Spaghetti, Dry Aged Roseda Beef Striploin, and Mushroom Risotto. For shareables, the Wood Fired Oysters and Crispy Brussel Sprouts were good, but wasn’t a huge fan of the Ricotta Dumplings. For desserts, we tried all three desserts but I only enjoyed the Key Lime Pie. Cocktails were pretty good! We ordered different rounds of shots and they came out pretty tasty.
Parking is a bit tough here—there’s street parking if you can find a spot, or there’s a small parking lot in the back but not too safe if you’re by yourself.
