Not a customer in the place – then unfriendly. After a few minutes wait the person behind the counter complained loudly that why do people wait to come in all at once. I brought five people with me. It just was not the best day I take it for the one’s working there. Don’t go there. As good as the pastry, donuts, or bread might be, what very little they do have, the experience of being a bother to them isn’t worth it. They really should sell out and allow someone else to give it a try in that space. The community could benefit from a change. I’m sorry to sound so blunt, but they are a business competing for people’s hard earned money. We all deal with issues. There’s no reason to not be respectful to strangers. They act like they don’t enjoy people or their business. It’s sad. It’s nothing like it was even worse now. Their time is past. The ability to overcome the bad attitude and behavior with a decent bakery and good location is gone.

Visited this bakery for the first time. Not much selection. Purchased 2 pastries, they were mediocre. The lady in front of me was talking to what seemed to be the owner, about staffing. The owner was complaining about a previous employee not showing up for work. If that was the owner, she is NOT very friendly, and NOT welcoming at all. Disappointing! Her attitude could very well be the reason why she is short staffed. Also, charging $1 to use a credit card?!?! That is OUTRAGEOUS…your pastries are $4.50 per apple fritter…WAIVE THE CARD FEE!

I’m up from Bama to take care of some business, and let me tell you getting lost has never been so tasty. A wrong turn, some back roads, and next thing I knew I was seeing the sign.
Everybody was perfectly pleasant, possibly the best donut I’ve ever had while looking at my phone to see where I’d gotten to.

This was my great-grandma’s fave place to go. The orange bread is addicting as hell and they make fantastic doughnuts. In the winter time definitely recommend the julekage! You do have to order it ahead of time generally but GOOD LORD I could eat that everyday forever.

This is my first time coming here and I am already fully aware that I will be making it a regular stop! The dough on the donuts is absolutely amazing! It’s airy and light but packed with flavor. Missed out on the bread as it gets put out at 11 and I went at opening but planning on going back soon! Friendly customer service and an atmosphere that feels original and welcoming
