Very nice place, everything was very clean, the bathroom was clean, the service was fast and the food is the same as the network, which I really like

Surprisingly good chicken katsu! I’m from Hawaii and a big fan of L&L. I didn’t have high hopes for this place, but it ended up great! The steamed veggies are a great bonus! If you get chicken katsu, be sure to grab sauce from the dispensers – it doesn’t get automatically put in the bag for takeout. The absence of sauce will wreck your meal. Do not forget the sauce.

Went to grab lunch here after a haircut, and some of the hair was still on my shirt afterwards.
Workers openly discussed how I was “dirty” and had “little black bugs” on my shirt. Again, it was just small bits of cut hair.
Did not feel comfortable eating since they would openly talk about a customer. Asked for a refund.
Maybe, if you’re in food service and ask for tips, you shouldn’t mock the people you serve.

I’ve gone twice because I’ve been missing the kalua pork I had a long time ago in Hawaii and the teriyaki chicken I used to get at a couple place in Eugene, Oregon. It’s fine. Just nothing special or very flavorful. I’ve had the pork, and both teriyaki chicken and bbq chicken. I may go back for the Guava Pie at the register but that’s probably it.

Had food delivered from this location twice in the past week. Without discount, the price would be too much. If you pick up yourself and or eat in the person, the price is better than some restauranta for the portions you get. There is a lot of meat and a lot of carbs. It tastes great, cooked well, and even not warm due to being delivered, the food still tastes great. The Hawaiian BBQ Beef Musubi is great but the portion size does not have the value that a plate affords you. The best value imo is the bbq chicken plate. Most meat for the price. The bbq beef and kalbi ribs are great, you just get a bit smaller portion size. The rice is cooked well, not dry, not mushy, slightly sticky. The macaroni salad is great, little bit of carrots, not too sweet. The sauces included are great. The forks are nice and not flimsy like you get at some restaurants. The to go containers get damaged when stacked 4 high, which happened this last delivery, luckily none of the food spilled out. My co worker says the chicken katsu is amazing, I have not had the katsu from this location.

I want to thank this establishment for having available restrooms for their customers, we drove an hour to come to an event here in LA and we decided to eat before our venue and with limited location that offer open restaurants to customers we arrived at this location that had great food with fast service and we didn’t have to ask for a code for the restroom. Thank you for appreciating your customer and providing an open friendly environment, we see you and appreciate you.

Convenient location across from a Ralphs, but outside the building has homeless here and there. Plenty of metered parking on the side street. Food didn’t wow me, just your standard grilled Teriyaki. I haven’t come back since last year.
