Not as good as it used to be when there were just a few of them. The food used to be well seasoned, and they had Curry Katsu chicken which was my favorite. Something is just off about the newer places. I haven’t been back to my favorite one in Scottsdale but I hope they didn’t ruin that one too. At least the sauce and the Mac salad is the same tho, thankfully.

We love this place but I don’t know what’s happening. Got the beef last night, and it was like shoe leather. Teriyaki chicken was salty, and they put so much juice in the box that it went everywhere! In the car and my floors before we noticed it. And it ruined my rice and salad. I spoke to the manager, and she apologized. Let’s see if it improves. I’ll give it another try in a month.

Hi, so I picked up my family order and got home. The crab Rangoons were missing from the order. I called the store and requested a credit for that item. I was told I need to bring back all food and receipt and card for refund. That’s not a way to conduct business. So simple to correct a bad review!

I went to Ono Hawaiian BBQ for the first time today . It was absolutely delicious. I moved here from New York City and this is one of the best meals I have had in Arizona. Can’t wait to order again . The staff was also amazing and answering all my questions. Thank you

I used to love this place then I moved to Surprise and going to this location has never been successful or smooth. The last 4 times I’ve been here, they give me the wrong order or something was missing, and the last time I finally called to make sure I can come back and get a new plate with fresh chicken and the right food, which she said is no problem as long as I bring receipt. I heard the lady that was yelling in the kitchen say it was a waste of time to make me a new plate with the correct order and it was my fault I didn’t do it 15 minutes earlier, when I had left. Not very professional or courteous. Not the service I was expecting and have never had a good experience here.

2 stars solely for the great food. But imagine placing an order online hours ahead, then getting there only to wait another 2 hrs for your food to get served. I would recommend this place but it’s not worth waiting 2 hours for, especially when the whole reason of ordering ahead is to avoid waiting for hours on end in the store.

Although the food was good and fairly plentiful it was not hot, and they added broccoli (usually get just cabbage and love it) that was barely if at all cooked. Hard as a rock. Two tables eating when we go there one lady in line ordering. No one at the drive thru (we sat in line there for five minutes without acknowledgement ) so we went inside. Still took 20 minutes to take my order and get my luke warm food. Girl at register was unfriendly and almost mopey. Tiarra I think her name was. No smile or friendly greeting. I will say the restaurant was very clean, although the walk in door remained open six or so inches the entire time I was there. The Ono’s in Gilbert does a much better job! This one is to slow, to cold, and unfriendly!

When it comes to flavor this location is spot on, however the customer service is atrocious and the fact they’re literally handing out coupons they don’t honor is mind boggling… three days in a row we had different groups want Hawaiian BBQ and while I’d love to say even one of those three days were positive it only got worse!
