Food was fire crunchy and delicious!
I ordered the Katsu Chicken Mini meal (about $12.00 after tax) lt Was very fresh when I got it, chicken was HOT, rice was nice and warm (soft) and the macaroni salad was on par with the rest . Paired this was some teriyaki dipping sauce, very good!
The Spam Musubi is very good as well, just a bit salty.

We had two fantastic experiences in a row at Ono Hawaiian BBQ on Yuma Rd. Both of our visits were during lunch time and we ate at the restaurant. The food was outstanding and great customer service. The Chicken Katsu, Teriyaki Chicken & Hawaiian BBQ Chicken were plentiful and consistent on both visits. We will be visiting again for sure!

I went in the drive thru tonight at 9pm and ordered the mini meal grilled chicken. Got home to see the grilled chicken sitting on nothing but rice, no macaroni or green vegetables. If they were out they did NOT inform me or tell me it would be just rice. Was highly disappointed with the missing sides.

Was hoping to post a better review however the portions of food that was given in my to go order was absurd. For a $16 plate all that was given was one slice of chicken and barely any beef (which you are upcharged for when you pick two items). All we got was all rice and salad hardly any protein as you can see in the pictures. I had already left facility and made the mistake of not checking plates before leaving. I hate it when Ono does this. Will be sticking to Chipotle instead. For the price there should be protein on those plates. The pictures don’t do the plates justice. There was minimal protein nicely spread out on the plate to make it look like it had more than it actually did. So disappointed wont be going back. Absolutely ridiculous! Do better Ono!

There’s lots of parking, the place is clean, and the food was great. Unfortunately, the service was not friendly at all. The cashier wasn’t busy when we arrived, but she acted like she was, or like she just didn’t want to be there. It wasn’t a welcoming experience, which was disappointing considering how good the food was.

Yesterday I ordered two chicken teriyaki plates. I handed her my debit card when I got home. I noticed the receipt was $37 and some change. I looked in the box and gave me beef and chicken teriyaki which we don’t eat beef at all. They charged me two sodas that they never even gave me.. I immediately called there and talked to the manager. Her name is Brittany. I heard her over the phone telling her team members. I’m busy I don’t want talk. she got on the phone. I told the team member I’m filing a complaint so Brittany got on the phone. Told Brittany the manager ! I heard what she said and as a customer, I have the right to talk to her anytime she was extremely rude. She told me to bring in my receipt and they will replace the food so I decided to go tonight after work since we didn’t get a chance to enjoy our meal. The drive-through line took almost 30 minutes. They have nothing but young teenagers work in there unorganized my chicken was burnt. Britney wasn’t there tonight. They definitely need to do better customer service skills and the quality of food is terrible. Don’t waste your time there..

Food quality is fine but the service is seriously lacking! Ordered the Aloha plate thinking the salad sounded good. They didn’t bother to say the don’t have ANY dressing cause there out. When asked about other options just got told no. Leaves a lot to be desired.

Have to be honest on this one – the digression from when it opened to now is huge. Orders are routinely incorrect, and the quality of the chicken has really dropped off. You MUST check your order before you leave. This makes drive through kind of pointless at this stage. Check your order. Did I mention order accuracy? Check it before you get home and realize it’s incorrect. The chicken started off excellent but as the months have gone on I’ve noticed a huge quality drop. Half of it being tendon and other inedible parts. I hate to leave a negative review on a newer food spot, but the only way they’ll make improvements is if they know they are slipping.

The hype is definitely GONE! When they first opened, everything was great! Now, no one even acknowledges you when you come in. I stood there for 5 minutes while the staff walked back and forth laughing and joking! They have completely messed up my orders several times or have barely given me any food! I contacted corporate over a month ago, sent 2 follow up emails and still, NO RESPONSE! Clearly they don’t care about the quality of their food, the service they provide, or my business! I will not be spending my hard earned money here any longer! I hope you don’t either!!

I was beside myself when the girl at the drive through window told me they were out of Katsu sauce…..but then she immediately said that it was availble in the dining area if I wanted some…..so your telling me your going to make go park and get out of my car after waiting in line at the drive through because you couldn’t take 5 steps to the right and get me the sauce I needed after spending more than $40 on my order??!! Crazy….I blame the lack of management, obviously there isn’t one present to train these kids on customer service in the restaurant business.
