We ordered for a pick up last night. We are at the ends with dealing with Covid. Tired, and thought Ono was a good choice. Our order was all packed up when we got there, they were getting ready to close up by 9pm. We ordered two plates and sides. I fed my one year old this, completely raw! Unacceptable. Waiting for you to open so I can speak to the manager. Check your food before you feed it to your family!!

Ordered Chicken Katsu, Crab Rangoons and Musubi.

The Rangoons were stale and chewy, completely cold.
The Musubi meat was stale and also somehow chewy.
The Chicken Katsu was so old I could barely cut it. Tried to eat it and cut the roof of my mouth.. like plastic.
The rice was waay over cooked and basically pudding.

It looks like they took food from 3 hours ago that was quickly reheated and reserved.

It was appalling that they would serve stale, old food and live with themselves.

The food is always good when I come here but this time around the communication was poor. I ordered the lava shrimp meal (TO HAVE VEGGIES INCLUDED)with a side of lava shrimp and veggies. The cashier suggested I change it to the special as it was cheaper and I would be getting the same thing. However no. She assumed I wanted all rice, no veggies. So now I’m sitting with 2 of the same meals full of rice and all they would do is give me plain dry side of veggies which is not how I wanted my food made, nor what I requested. So now I have 2 whole orders of rice that I paid for that’s not gonna get ATe because it’s not what I asked for. They even REFUSED to add the lava sauce I asked to be added. She made every excuse to not correct my food smfh!
I’m noticing a trend with a lot of these restaurants where customer satisfaction is non existent. Won’t be returning here and will be recommending other locations over this one!

**Update 5 mins later**

I decided to still eat my food regardless of my unhappiness. I DEF WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THEM!! Some of my shrimp were not properly deshelled I discovered as I bit and began chewing into one of the shrimps. #photo3

I can always go for Ono Hawaiian! Consistently good, my favorites are the chicken katsu & the beef kalbi shortribs, while my family likes the fish and the chicken teriyaki. The staff are generally well trained & professional, and the dining area and restrooms are always clean. Definitely try this place for a good reminder of the Islands!

Yesterday (12-19-25) marked my initial visit to this establishment, and I wish to convey that the staff members were exceptionally cordial and accommodating.

Upon my arrival, four employees situated to my right were engaged in paperwork and appeared to be quite occupied, yet this did not hinder them from extending a warm greeting upon my entry: “Aloha, Welcome to Ono.” Upon my departure, they courteously wished me, “Have a great day.” Such gestures profoundly affected me, especially considering I had experienced a difficult day and was in need of reassurance. It’s the little things like this that just keep me going. I truly appreciate you Ono Employees. Every one of you is a Blessing.

Excellent Customer Service.
Savory Food.
Lovely Place.

They have several new employees with positive attitudes everyone greeted me with Aloha welcome in. I said Aloha right back. The cooks name is Ramon who hooked up my cabbage like back home in Hawaii. I’m part Hawaiian and this is as close to home as it gets. Thank you all I will be a weekly regular and Ramon is my new best friend he needs a raise.

So I go here every once in a while I like the food but usually don’t look forward to the customer service. Some of the ladies here clearly don’t want to be here and never even look me in the eye. Don’t smile don’t ask me if I need anything else. Yeah it’s always a bad taste in my mouth.

But today was very different! I got to meet a wonderful lady named Alex. She was phenomenal! She smiled she locked eyes with me she was bubbly and very personable. Took time out of her day to offer me sauce. Gave me a little bag for my containers of Katsu sauce so they wouldn’t leak all over she was wonderful!

Because of her I will come here even more often just looking forward to seeing her and her wonderful customer service!

Alex you’re great keep it up.

We live 15 – 20 mins from this location. I order online to make sure everything I am ordering is correct and to have everything ready to go once I arrive. I shouldn’t have to double check my order open every bag and box to make sure all that I ordered is there. It’s is so disappointing driving so far to get home and see that I didn’t get what I ordered and then on top of that have to call and ask for them to make it right and they just offer to come and get the rice they forgot.
Management needs to make sure their people that are packaging the ordered triple check beforehand. Lastly how are you going to get upset with me on the phone when I am just asking to make it right, insinuating I am lying that they forgot something. Moral of the story make sure you dig through your meals before you leave to make sure they can get it right.

Pa change your oil, for $13 a plate my fish should not look like this

The Hawaiian food that this is supposed to be. Lacks flavor unless you put a lot of the sauces that are available. Dry rice, too sweet macaroni salad, the meats are okay. But this really is uninspired taste. And now it cost too much.

Very welcoming when you go in. The workstation seems a little congested, too many employees in a small area behind the registry. It allows too much interaction and loses focus of the customer. The order should be the name based in that number based it causes a lot of confusion, especially when orders are being called mix matched Example order number 14 was Way after order number 17 18 19.
I still don’t think that there should be seven or eight employees behind the register area as it’s a small area and only three in the cook area. If that’s the case, I think that the employee should be bringing the food to the customers even if it’s good to go and or Diane . If the names can be called, that would help alleviate a lot of confusion within the store. Other than that, the food is great they take their time with making your order and making sure that it’s correct.
