I tried here today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Pick 2 plate with BBQ chicken and BBQ Beef with a side of macaroni salad. The protein came on a bed of white rice with salad on the side. Very generous portion for the price of $14.99! The meat was seasoned and flavorful, rice qas jasmine I believe and cooked correctly, I enjoyed the salad also but it could have used a tab bit more dressing. The macaroni salad was simple and with some added cracked pepper it was pretty good also. I will be back!

I’ve always came to this location to order my food. And I always get the #4 Hawaiian bbq mix and I always ask the cashier if they can remove the beef and replace with something else. Today I came to 38th St Thomas Server Zala was very rude and unfriendly. After I’ve asked her can you please remove the beef because I’ve gotten few times before, so then she walked away asked chef didn’t communicate what was said and then she responded “ I am not the one cooking so she started laughing then I asked her what do you mean then she responded you’ve too pay extra $5 bucks and i simply said you can just remove it. And I saw few people upset while they waiting for their food. I don’t know if she had a bad or what that’s definitely not how you talk to customers. Please remove front. So I hope I don’t get sick today because prior whenever someone gives you an attitude the food turns out to be bad. Very frustrating and poor behavior customer service. Please do better.

I got the teriyaki chicken and white rice That’s great as usual. They did a good job and had it out amazingly fast. I guess that’s what we get when we eat at 11:40 a.m. on a Saturday morning.

Ordered lunch and it was terrible. The rice was very soggy. The shrimp was not crispy. The chicken was burnt. The spam musubi was not cooked at all. Very terrible I should’ve left soon as I saw there was Mexican cooking in the back and the Chinese guy. The original owner used to cook there and it was the best.

The food here is good but the staff need a lot of help. They do not answer the phone. Upon arrival they did not know how to work the cash register. You can only use one gift card per order which was not mentioned at all. And finally they do not notify you when your order is ready. Like I said, the food is good but the service sucks.

First off working for ONO was nothing but chaotic from the start. I was put out to do things on my first few days on my own, which is fine because I have restaurant experience, but not when I continuously had to ask questions and got no answers in return. Next, the walk in was not up to par, very dirty and disgusting. There are no set spots for the dishes when clean, they just put them anywhere. Also fun fact they keep most of the foods in plastic containers. Lastly the GM, does not help the employees at all. I would ask for help and he would not direct me in the slightest. I was lied to about how much I would be making, and got underpaid my first paycheck. Which I am currently talking to HR about. All in all, this is a horrible place to work. Seeing what I saw makes me never want to eat here again. The food was alright at best, But definitely not anything amazing. I would never recommend this location to anyone.
