A friend and I met here for lunch on a Saturday. Very quiet, we were the only ones in there for the majority of the time.
Despite this not great sign, the food was very good. I was able to change out the pork in my ramen for chicken. The broth was very flavorful.

Me and a friend visited this place for the first time. The food was really great and we enjoyed it a lot. Although they should add boba or smoothies. Different drinks to the menu would be even better! I’d definitely come back if they had boba and that ramen is so good. Please addd boba if you’re the owner!! The best part is the broth after you finish the meat and veggies yall. So much flavor and smells amazing. Very clean place and even the bathrooms are clean. No hairs in food it was perfect!!

My Go-to Ramen place with my friends! I have had both – Hinotori Karai(spicy chicken ramen) & Nirvana Aka(Veg ramen) and I would rate them 10/10 for that flavourful broth and tasty toppings!

A friend and I had a great experience at Onikama Ramen Bar. We went for a quick dinner after walking by this place a few times and it did not disappoint. Very nice environment with friendly staff. The food was very good and they have vegan options. Though the Nirvana Aka I ordered was originally vegan, I opted to add an egg to it. The food was so good I even forgot to take a picture of the ramen before we had already dug in.

It was my first time here and the food is delicious! I got the Nirvana Aka and everything tasted very fresh. The vegetables were plentiful and yummy. You get a really big bowl and it is filling. Next time I will order extra broth because it’s so good. I’ve already recommended it to my colleagues! It would be a great place for a lunch meeting, it’s a nice big space.

During a business trip, I stumbled upon Onikama on the fringe of the University of Maryland. Craving some ramen, I decided to give it a try. Although the restaurant primarily caters to the campus crowd, it was summer, so the volume was low, making for a relaxed dining experience.
Onikama has a hip college atmosphere with anime decor, which I found quite charming. The ordering process is straightforward with a kiosk where you select your food from a simple menu that had exactly what I wanted. I opted for the Crispy Takoyaki as an appetizer and the Kuroi Oni Shinaji as my main course. The food arrived quickly and was served piping hot, with a professional and appealing presentation.
The Takoyaki was incredibly flavorful and delicious, setting high expectations for the ramen. The Kuroi Oni Shinaji did not disappoint either—perfectly cooked with abundant vegetables and noodles. Each bite was a delight.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Onikama and would gladly return. The food is the star here, and it shines brightly. If you’re looking for great ramen and delicious appetizers, this is the place to be. Just don’t expect much in terms of service, as the focus is clearly on the culinary experience.

Yummy food with a great atmosphere! I had the Salman Gohan, which is a bowl with rice with salmon, corn, and other great flavors on top. The ratio was good to mix everything together, with a bit of rice left over at the end. It tasted very good, but it cost $18. The portion was sufficient for a meal, but I would have liked a bit more salmon for the price. The quality is good, but for $18 I prolly would have preferred all you can eat dinner at the dining hall. The service was really good and any questions I asked were promptly and politely answered. I got my food 5 minutes after the time I was told by the automated text message, and this wasn’t good because the person I was with had to catch their bus. The atmosphere is great, with a wood and plant theme. The kitchen is visible and connect to a tabletop with barstools. There is a cool large mural on one wall. I will definitely be back here to try some ramen and onigiri, but for now I give Onikama Ramen Bar 4 stars!

First time here and their tonkotsu ramen was delicious. The taste is good, not too thick but very refreshing and is not too salty, just nice. We tried shiro oni (original tonkotsu) and kuroi oni (tonkotsu with garlic oil). The cha su and egg were so flavorful, they were so delicious! The portion was good too!

Food was really good, warm, tasty. The grilled squid was really delicious, the sauce, and the squid was easy to chew. It’s really convenient to order at the kiosk, the menu has pictures so you know what you are getting.
