Obviously the name brought us in out of curiosity, but the experience cemented this as my new obsession (I don’t live in sac).
The menu is a creative blend of Japanese sushi dishes served in the style of tacos and “burgers” (like rice and seaweed buns). They had a phenomenal deal going on when we went where it was buy two get three free. The portions are so big that we had too much food but amen worth it.
It’s themed like a fast food burger shop—even comes in cute wrappers and sleeves. The seating area is a bit more like a normal restaurant but in time I’m sure they’ll stylize it more to match.
The service was 6 Stars. They help you understand what you’re ordering if the menu confuses you, they tell you the cheapest way to order if there are deals. They bring your food out AND check on you!
They even brought us a free fried banana on the house it was so sweet (literally and figuratively haha).
Will come back next time I’m in Sac!

The food is absolutely incredible and the staff are very friendly and kind. We already are thinking of the next time we can come back.

We went for the boba but then saw this place and wanted to check it out. M the owner was so nice. She explained everything in the menu patiently. She gave us suggestions and made the food match to our preferences. I thought it was just something like sushi style in different shape, but the ingredients were super fresh and their house sauce was delicious. Reasonable price.

Delicious! My husband and I had the Unagi Bite and Salmon Bite Combo, with Gyoza. Don’t let the “bites” name fool you, the portions were generous, topped with a good amount of fish. Staff were excellent, very helpful and welcoming! We will definitely be back!

Very fun concept! We ordered the chicken katsu onigiri burger and unagi nori bite, and both were very good. Loved the texture of the crispy nori and highlight was the house sauce. Also appreciated the amazing service—they brought out our food to us and checked in to make sure it was to our liking.

Really enjoyed the nori tacos and looking forward to trying more off of their menu. The place was really clean, service excellent and staff knocking it out efficiently so everything was really fresh and great cuts/bites. If I had to find something to be critical of, I guess the flavors were a little muddled and maybe a little too much rice. But, they do have soracha out to spice it up and a really fun menu to choose from…maybe the criticism of variety of flavor had more to do with what I ordered.
As someone who lived in Japan and loves onigiri, I’m super impressed with their ability to mix it up in their fusion with burgers/tacos. Looking forward to trying other stuff off their menu…I ate way too much and still don’t feel as washed as I typically do from a burger and fries- appreciate the fresh take!

Had an amazing first time experience! we were treated with only the best service and don’t get me started on the food it was amazing never had anything like it! but will definitely come back for more and take friends that will love it as much as us! It’s such a great take on fusion food and so convenient as well!!! we got the shrimp tempura burger it was eaten before we got to take a picture haha, we also got the torched salmon nori.

Absolutely delicious Japanese fast food. The name is misleading-burgers in the name but it’s like delicious tempura sushi! Got the krab nori bite- it’s a little like a GIANT California roll. If you want sushi flavors without sushi prices and you want something quick- this is the place!! Also the NICEST people and fast great service!! Please support so they will stay!!!
