I love onigiri, I fell in love with it Japan. Recently, I ordered a spicy shrimp and baked salmon onigiri. The shrimp one was great but the Salmon one was probably one of biggest salt bombs I’d ever had! After two bites, I had to immediately throw it away. Maybe I went on a bad day or the young workers just didn’t care that night. Hard pass for me!

You get a large and warm onigri for just under $4. It’s kind of perfect for a quick snack or bite. The fact that it’s warm is very appealing. Service is good, you order from a tablet and wait until they call your number. I’m there can be a bit of a wait depending on how busy they are. My main problem is that they’re a bit dry to eat. We bought the chicken teriyaki and a tuna fish. Both were ok but just a bit dry.

This is my second time here and while I am happy to know they do use real crab when you order the real crab onigiri, I am NOT happy to find a real, pointy, sharp crab leg tip in my mouth. It was a painfully unpleasant experience. Buyer beware – check before you eat.

Im allergic to sesame, so I don’t want the employee to sprinkle sesame on the rice ball.
I can’t leave a note while ordering on the kiosk, so I have to tell the employees. But the employees are behind a glass screen. So it can be hard to get their attention. And when l do, they seem mildly annoyed (I’m always polite about it!!)
