While the Blue Pine salad is delicious, my take out protein-less order, for $15, was a miss. More like a side salad size with minimal toppings compared to when you dine in. Not worth the $15 and now I’m still hungry.

O’Neill’s is a relaxed Irish pub in Leawood (a short drive from KC). We eat at this restaurant once a month during our monthly meetings! We love eating here because of the delicious food, spacious seating/conference room, and fantastic service.

I got the Ruben sandwich and the brownie dessert. The sandwich had almost no dressing on it but had a lot of sauerkraut, which I had ordered without. The brownie dessert was too hard to actually eat and I’m pretty sure the brownie had sat out for at least 2 days. The best part was the ice cream which I doubt they made in house.

I have serious mixed feelings about this place! My food was good, but my husband’s order was completely wrong to the point that he really didn’t get much to eat. We did to-go and didn’t check it, unfortunately. We also ordered dessert and it was so hard that we actually couldn’t even get a fork through it (the brownie) and had to throw it away. In general, the food also seemed quite costly for what we got. $12 for four stuffed mushrooms. $8 for an inedible brownie. The only glance of the corned beef did look really good though. I wish I had ordered something different. My fish and chips were fine, but they were just fish and chips. Definitely not as spectacular looking as the corned beef. Unfortunately, my husband only had about four bites of corned beef left by the time he was done pulling out all of the sauerkraut that he requested not to be on his sandwich. So I couldn’t actually try that. The environment is nice. If you’re just looking for a place to have a beverage. I would strongly suggest that you check your food and make sure that it’s soft enough to get a fork through before driving off if you do to go. Much as I love Irish food, I think I’ll be sticking with another local Irish place instead of this one in the future given how little I got for my money.

Excellent! Used to eat here all the time but we moved across town and hadn’t been in a while. It was still great. Spinach and Parmesan dip is awesome and my favorite meal is the steak sandwich.

Shockingly bad. The appetizer arrived cold and undercooked about two minutes after ordering. The entree was the same. Arrived way too fast to have cooked anything. Reuben tasted off, fries weren’t done, and the white gravy was sweet! To top it all off the manager was rude. Luckily the rest of the staff was pleasant. Dinner for two for $85 and it all went in the trash. Run far, far away.

An impromptu midweek lunch visit on our anniversay.Timed it just right. It was busy but we were seated right away. Our server was excellent. Food was fantastic. -Updated: we hadn’t been here in a minute. No real reason. Food was excellent and our server was great. Personable and attentive.

My second visit to O’Neill’s. Food was significantly better this time. Warm, not cold. Diet Dr. Pepper was NOT watery. Last time? Water with a hint of Coke.
