We had such a lovely evening at 123 Burger House (aka One Twenty Three Burger House) in St. Augustine. We were seated outside on the porch as dusk settled in — the sort of casual, charming setting that sets the mood just right.
To start, we tried the fried green tomatoes and the “caramel fries” (sweet potato or similar) as appetizers — both were delightful and set the tone for what was to come. The green tomatoes had just the right crispness and flavor, and the sweet-savory fries hit a sweet spot.
Our burgers were bursting with flavor — juicy, well-seasoned, cooked just as requested, and served on soft, toasted buns. It looked so good we forgot to take pictures!
What really made the evening special, though, was our server. I can’t recall his name, but he was outstanding — attentive, friendly, made sure our drinks were refilled without having to ask, and brought out our food swiftly. That kind of service turns a great meal into a memorable one.
We left feeling satisfied and happy. If you’re in St. Augustine and craving a burger with character, good sides, and excellent service in a relaxing atmosphere, 123 Burger House is absolutely worth a stop.

Everyone’s meals were delicious. Server was very familiar with Celiac. Only burgers go on the grill. They have a separate toaster for the GF buns. They have a separate fryer that they only do regular fries and sweet potato fries in. My daughter absolutely loved her meal and felt fine afterward. All the gluten eaters were very satisfied as well. We would absolutely go back here. Service was fantastic, thank you Ansley!

Downtown, had burgers and they were okay the service was really good. We sat outside and that was nice there was indoor seating also. A manager came by and talked to us. Plenty of parking for downtown.

Delicious crafty burgers and their fries were perfection! Definitely not your typical burger joint. Service was excellent and very friendly. Don’t skip out on the ice cream too, the banana cream pie was decadent.

Great service. We ordered one gluten free burger and were assured the fries and tator tots would be fried in a separate fryer. The gluten free bun was one of the best I have had yet! My mom and friend split a regular burger and they plated their meal in half for each of them which was such a thoughtful touch. We loved our meal and our server Rachel was super sweet and reassuring with any questions i had about their products pertaining to gluten. We enjoyed our meal, had ice-cream at the end and left feeling full and satisfied. Would definitely go back if I lived here!

I ordered a beef burger and requested the meat to be well-done. Unfortunately, it came very dry. The onion rings tasted good, but they were cold. The fries were good though.

We have drove by here many times and decided to try it. The service was great but the food horrible. The patties looked to be premade/store bought, definitely not hand made. Very thin and bland. I was surprised to see an older clientele being so close to downtown. I would not recommend this place to anyone unfortunately. If you want a good burger hit up the 80/20 burger truck on US 1 just north of Culver’s most days.
