Really good and authentic taste! It’s a bit hidden and certainly not an exquisite location, but the food speaks for itself. They even prepared the Tom yum soup with tofu for me which was super nice.
If you order authentic spiciness, be prepared! Brings me back to my time in Thailand 🙂

One Thai Kitchen may not look pretty and far from fancy, but they effortlessly deliver the true Thai taste to Malta. Great food with good price. Out of our one-week trip we had 4 meals at/from them. I’d recommend all kinds of spicy salad. They got it perfect to the T. Sweet, tangy and a little salty. And they let you choose spice levels. Pad Kaprao (spicy stir fried holy basil with protein of choice) was also tasty. Our least favorite dishes were Pad See Ew and Padthai. Could be because we‘re not a fan of broccoli in these dishes. The portion was not too big or too small. They kept their spot clean despite the location. I think it’s a walkway to an apartment entrance. May not look so welcoming but it turned out to be more pleasant to dine there than expected. The chef, cooks and staffs were very accommodating to our requests. They even ran to fetch some salmon for the salad when they actually ran out of raw salmon that day. We will definitely be back. In fact, flights have already been booked and this time we got a hotel closer to One Thai so we can eat there for one whole week! If that‘s not love, I don’t know what is.

My Pad See Ew and Veg Spring Rolls hit the mark. They ask for spice level, mine was medium but the heat felt less. Guess next time we go max spice

It’s not the easiest place to find. We found it by accident as we had walked past the walkway a few times.
It’s a modest setting, with seating in front of the kitchen / service area. However, as we discovered, there’s also a more formal seating area with air conditioning close by.
It’s not the most extensive menu but it had many familiar dishes. There’s a lack of vegetarian options but they swapped out the meat for tofu on my requested dish.
The food was very good, with the flavours you’d expect from Thai food. The Massaman curry was a touch sweeter than I’m used to but still enjoyable.
Portion sizes were reasonable, as was the price. Worth a visit.

Excellent Thai restaurant! We shared spicy chicken soup for start (and it was delicious), and then had Pad Thai and Pad See Ew, both with pork. Both dishes were super-tasty.
They also serve Thai beers, so you can get the full experience.

super tasty food! pha Thai is a must-try! also sweet sour rice with chicken and pineapple was sooo good! the staff was very friendly and the prices reasonable. the spring rolls were delicious as well!

I had the papaya salad, it’s not on the menu but I think it’s a special that you have to asked for. They are the only kitchen within this part of town that makes papaya salad.
A bit much on the tamarind but I stilled enjoyed it. It’s not as great as what I’m used to having but it meets the standards.
I order the chicken Kuay Teaw Kua Gai as well. I was super hungry and I didn’t make the trip to this place to just eat the papaya. Over all, I really enjoy it. It’s hidden in the rough and you have to go between streets and walkways to see the sign of the restaurant.
I tried two other Thai places here, and I didn’t like it as much. It was a few Euros more and it didn’t taste as great.
So if you’re Craving so Thai food, this is the place I recommend. Yes, I am Asian, and I have cultural heritage in south East Asian food and I approve this place.

Authentic Thai food. Amazing. Seating inside. We had medium spicy, and it was perfect. My lips are still tingling but not crazy hot. It was so nice to find great Asian food in Europe.

If they ask how spicy you want the food go for medium at max, otherwise You will not enjoy the food but only fire in your mouth.
