If I had to rate my overall experience I’d give it a 7.5/10. The atmosphere didn’t feel the friendliest and the person taking my order gave off the vibe that she would rather be doing anything else. I ordered oxtails with rice and peas and plantain. The oxtails with rice and peas was super delicious, but the plantain could use some work. I prefer plantain that’s sweet and not so dry and it didn’t have either of those qualities.

The customer service was great! The wait time wasn’t too bad and the prices were good. I had curried chicken, rice, plantains, and cabbage…and everything tasted great! The portion sizes were large so I had leftovers for the next day as well

Omg! This was my first and last time I will be visiting this place. The place was clean. The lady taken orders not friendly or knowledgeable about the food on the menu. The presentation did not look good at all. I started to ask for a refund, but I didn’t. But when I tasted the food it was disgusting so nasty. The ordered the Jerk Chicken dinner. The Mac & Cheese was horrible, the cabbage was very bland some hard and crunchy, the chicken was dry. I was so disappointed and so hungry but I had to throw it away and made me a grill cheese sandwich for dinner. NEVER AGAIN!! I order my food at 6:10p it was ready at 7:20p and there was only 3 people waiting. This place some changes for the better or be CLOSED FOREVER.

This is the best Jamaican restaurant in town with no apology. The customer service is EXCELLENT, the food is DELICIOUS. I love the steam Snapper and my husband loves the jerk chicken. I also Oder a pan of curry goat for my birthday party and my guess loves it so much.

I am new to area..a true Floridian to heart. I know authentic food when I taste it as Florida is a melting pit for ALOT of ethnic backgrounds..in particular anyone from the Caribbean countries. We have Jamaican restaurants on just about every corner. I must admit my expectations of finding authenticity here…in particular in this part of GA…Atlanta, I’m certain I would find it. But, make mi tell you summtin…Nevertheless I live literally 2 mins from that Caribbean fireside or something like that restaurant. But I live off reviews and they had a 4.1 star, STRONG PASS for me. I looked a little more and found One Taste. Took my shot and glad I did. I came back to back. Friday for the Jerk chicken. Although I’m used to my chicken being chopped up instead of whole. It was really good AND the Cabbage was fresher than most at Florida Jamaican restaurants. I wasn’t able to get my boil dumpling, as they are cooked to order…BUT I did get them with my VERY delight Ackee and saltfish on Saturday. Overall the food was very good..I should have taken a pic..but wasn’t thinking of that only slamming my food..lol. While I waited, I would have enjoyed some Beres or even Buju music..hell even old skool Shabba (Trailer load, trailer load) come down selector!! I will be back!! Everything was Cook and curry!!

I had the pleasure of trying this Jamaican restaurant for the first time today, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was outstanding.
I ordered the jerk chicken, rice, and cabbage, and every bite was bursting with authentic flavor. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with the right amount of spice, the rice was cooked to perfection, and the cabbage was a fresh and flavorful complement to the meal. The food not only tasted amazing but was also reasonably priced.
The only slight downside was the limited drink options, but honestly, the incredible food and warm service more than made up for it.
Overall, my experience was a 10/10, and I’ll definitely be returning soon. If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican cuisine with exceptional service, this spot is a must-try!

First time there and the food was awesome! We got jerk chicken Mac and cheese plantains and green beans! Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious flavor! The chicken was juicy and and the Mac and cheese was so cheesy good! Reminded me of my grandma’s plantains were perfectly sweetened! I couldn’t get enough. The green beans were very flavorful.
We did have to wait for fresh chicken but I’m ok with that! They were super busy. Even though they were busy the workers were very nice and polite
I will be coming here a lot more I can’t wait to try more! you guys hit this place up and keep them in business!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
