Stopped by One Social District in downtown Madison and grabbed a drink, but this place is way more than just a bar stop. It’s a full-on food hall with multiple different restaurants and concepts all under one roof, so it’s perfect if you’re with a group and everyone wants something different.
It’s a super convenient spot for a casual hang, game days, or a quick stop when you’re exploring the area—and I love places where you can mix drinks, food, and variety without overthinking it.
Definitely adding this back to my list for a full food stop next time I’m in Madison.

Great young professional or young family date night option. Italian, seafood, Tavern, and Mexican food options. Señora Machete had solid taqueria food but Palio (Italian) and Real Seafood Company felt more fast casual. I’m excited that there’s a place to go for oysters, cocktails, and tacos, but there were some kids items on the menus, so can be family friendly. You can order at each eatery, but they are cashless. I was told that if I wanted to use cash, I could go to the bar and use cash to get a gift card for use at the eateries. Alternatively, there are QR codes on each table that pull up the site for the food court and you can order for pickup from each eatery, which feels like a better option, especially with kids.

Ordered a smash burger and cheese curds online for takeout at Casey’s Tavern. Upon opening the box once I got home, I noticed that the cheese curds were all bursted and stuck in one clump. The burger itself was good. I have ordered from Casey’s before and did not have this problem, so it was unfortunate that this somehow passed the quality check this time around.

The atmosphere the vibe is really cool and the view is amazing. The food tasted great and had really fantastic aesthetic. I went to Senora machete and got quesabrirria. Only thing was it’s a little pricey for portions. But definitely will go back.

Beautiful lakeside views, comfortable seating, and good food. Though I’d argue a restaurant with Asian cuisine (Maybe Filipino?) could be a future thought. Had lunch with friends and we all found things to try-Lobster rolls, Walleye Po’boy, Smash burger, Poke bowl, and Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. I would go again. 🙂

We visited on opening day. I ordered a Margherita pizza and ended up waiting a full hour. After the first 20 minutes, I noticed that guests who arrived after me were receiving their orders first. That was fine, but I checked with a cashier, who told me it would be another 5 minutes.
About 20 minutes later, still nothing. When I asked again, I was told it was “almost ready.” Another 20 minutes passed with no update. I finally spoke with the manager, who explained that my pizza had been refired 3 times due to quality issues. Even after their 3rd attempt, the final pizza tasted only slightly below average to me. They did offer me a free pizza, which I appreciated, but overall the experience was disappointing.

I really like this option when going out. Friends and I met. We just order random food to share. Everything was great – the drinks at the bar are strong. It’s a very cute place. It is a bit more expensive than some places but very fun and relaxing. We will be back.

Lobster roll is a tasty seasoned chilled nicely sized seafood claw meat salad, but you not be transported to Nantucket. Nonetheless it’s a nice treat to have there. I was able to substitute a mixed salad for fries and the poblano dressing was great.

Food was decent overall. The shrimp cocktail was amazing I will say. The service we had was exceptional. Christina made up a cocktail just to my liking and she was very friendly and personable! She was crazy and still made sure to pay attention to everyone! Will for sure be going back!

We ate at Senora Machetes. First of all, I didnt see this on the menu but the employee working behind the counter told me anything can be made vegetarian which I would assume also means vegan since most the time that just means forgoing the cheese. Anyway, they had a specifically vegetarian option on special and it was phenomenal! Crispy, tons of flavor, and came with 2 different salsa (Red and Verde). Hard to pick a favorite between the two, but the verde is one of the better ones ive had. Reasonably priced, delicious food with knowledgeable and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.
I dont remember the name of the bar that is right next to it, but the staff against was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.
