This was the worst impression of barbecue I’ve ever experienced. Nothing about the taste or smell was what you’d expect barbecue to be. The drummies were oddly tiny and I’m completely convinced that the brisket and turkey is just deli meat. Worst of all, the ribs were dried out with a strong uncovered refrigerator taste. It’s always sad when a small business goes commercial.

We were in Memphis, so we had to try BBQ! The service was fine, very quick. A very small dining area, I think this is more of a get it to go type place than sit down and eat here place. The BBQ pork sandwich was very good, so were all the sides. The banana pudding was also good. The weakest part of the meal was the deviled eggs. I love deviled eggs and I’ve never had a bad deviled egg, but these were just okay. Overall all, an enjoyable meal.

My meal is missing a sandwich. Just ordered a pork shoulder dinner and 2 orders of one chicken one pork Hawaiian sliders. I only got 3 sliders so I basically paid 7$ for a single slider. Still giving five stars only because the young man who handed me my order and the girl server who greeted me were incredibly kind, and the weather is horrible for them to be working today. too nice to leave a bad review. Please hook me up the next time I’m in there for my trouble.

Took 15 minutes to get a BBQ at 1:30pm with NOBODY in the restaurant. Blondish woman in glasses got snotty when I asked if my sandwich would be out soon after 10 minutes waiting. The 10 buck sandwich was pretty good with almost no smoke on it. Passed on the $4.40 side of beans. They charge a lot. Guy picked up a wing order and haggled over a couple of small sauce sides. Wouldn’t pay 3 dollars plus each for maybe 3-4 ounces of sauce. Barbecue was just ok. Pretty moist but hardly smoked. I’ve had better experiences at the Cordova location.

Our server was very personable and was on top of everything.
Everyone really enjoyed their food, me included. We ordered a variety of things but overall it was a 8.7/10
My burger was a 9 for sure.
I really wish they had a bigger dining area since people were constantly coming in, proving the food was good. I heard this was the better location for sure ! Glad we picked it.

January 2026 -Okay, I am back! Giving it another try. It took me a while to bring myself back.
Again, everyone is so friendly. It’s clean, and speedy service. Portions are nice. Plenty of food!
This time I tried some recommended items as locals told me to give this place another go. I love literally 1 minute away.
We got the ribs, 1/2 wet and dry and dry rub wings, Mac and cheese plus twice tater salad. My kid got Mac n cheese plus deviled eggs.
It’s AMAZING! the flavor is good, seasoned well, meat is tender and Smokey flavor is nice.
My teenager son also approves.
Thank you one and only! You do have some good food.

Texan here. Ordered the beef brisket dinner with 2 sides. Everyone is so friendly, quick and helpful. Got my food, the servings are nicely portioned, hot and timely. But my brisket was roast beef slices, dry as the Sahara. It actually brought a tear to my Texan eye. I wanted so badly to make this work, ordered it for dinner and I had to add a ton of seasoning and bbq and put it on the slice of white bread it comes with and dollop some coleslaw on top to get it down the hatch. I didn’t want to complain to those nice folks. The coleslaw tasted like mayo and cabbage. And the Mac and cheese is nothing to write home about.
I hope and pray I just ordered the wrong thing. Or maybe this was a bad batch. Because I’ve never seen brisket like this. everyone says how good the bbq is here, so I’m going to eventually go back and try to the recommended order. But I can smoke you some brisket if you want!?

First time visiting this location to eat! Been here before to pick up orders. It’s really nice to see consistency over the last 3 years.
Add a great time being able to sit down and actually enjoy the hometown closeness.
It feels very Mom and Pop.
My pulled pork was wonderful sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly. And I have to make sure to get a slice of pie.
It is strange to eat this food and feel like I ate healthy .
Didn’t you feel heavy or weighed down after eating.

Not your typical bbq brisket, Memphis twist. Thin sliced cooked to well done, although I prefer the meat to be cooked to medium rare /medium the Peppered seasoning gave the smooth flavored.
The sweet potato fries are fresh cut and cooked beautifully.
The twice baked potato hands down the best potato salad I have ever eaten.
The baked beans are always packed with flavor, including the chunks of pulled pork truly delicious.
One and Only’s sides do not disappoint.
The staff hustles, they are upbeat, engaged, and friendly. Specifically Rhonda and Tara, the several times I have been in they are wonderful people. Thank you for your services.

Not for me. Both items recommended by the cashier which they are known for weren’t good to me. I didn’t get to completely eat either item. Maybe it was due to ot being the final hour before closing…the place was recommended by hotel staff so we tried it.

When you come in you are greeted with a warm smile and seated at the table inside. They also have tables outside for when it is warmer. They have menus but also a chalkboard wall has the menu on it as well. I presume it’s for people ordering Togo but I like seeing it instead of regular menu.
Ordered bbq pork nachos, pulled pork sandwich, and 1/3 rack of ribs. The option of different size rack is nice since you may not always eat it all. Everything was so good as always. I will have to remember to ask for more jalapeños in the nachos as I like a lot of them.
Tried the banana pudding for dessert and it was scrumptious. Definitely try it if you get a chance!
