A really diverse environment, with many rooms, including an outdoor area (weather permitting) with a gas fire ring. TVs abound with every sport imaginable. We had a room reserved for a celebration of life with 50+ people and it was very well run. A great place for food, drink and much more.

Live music, lots of TVs for sports, great setup had tables outside as well. Bartender was excellent! Deserves a raise kept everyone at the bar taken care of as well as those checking out from inside tables. Clean bar, inside and out. Came for drinks lemon drop especially and it was excellent. Ordered mozzarella sticks to go 4 per order kinda pricey but tasted ok.

I love this place! Shae is hands-down my favorite bartender at One North. She is consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely cares about the guest experience. She remembers faces, drinks, and preferences, and always makes the bar feel welcoming and fun. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows every single visit. Bartenders like her are a huge reason people come back.
That said, I also want to share an honest concern about the temperature on the bar side during colder months. It is often freezing—to the point where it feels like sitting outside. I’ve personally watched guests leave early because they were too cold to enjoy their experience, and I’ve had to leave myself on multiple occasions for the same reason. It’s really difficult to relax, enjoy a drink, or stay for food when you’re bundled up and shivering.
More than anything, I feel for the employees who are expected to work long shifts in these conditions. They do their best to provide great service despite the cold, but it shouldn’t be that uncomfortable for anyone.
One North has so much potential and an amazing team—addressing the temperature issue would greatly improve the overall experience and help retain customers.

We went there to celebrate a birthday so we had a large group and had reserved the big room for 35 people. When we got there we were told there was another group who had also reserved the room, which is fine, but they had shorted on the number of seats we needed. The server we had was amazing considering she was the only waitress we had, we were supposed to have two. We were also told since it was going to be a large group that gratuity would be included in the bills, luckily we double checked with our server because it was not, she worked way to hard to be shorted on tips. Most people had the buffet, the food was ok, I am not sure if I would have it again. I may come back and try ordering off the menu. The room we were in was nice and we had plenty of space. So one other thing that they might want to take note of is staff discussing complaints on the floor. We had told our server that we would need another table and more chairs because we did not have enough. She went and got them and got it all set up, like I said she was great. While walking back from the buffet another server was talking to our server and said “what are they complaining about” in a rude tone. So will I go back, possibly, it was not a great first impression though.

What a great time we had at One North restaurant in Lansing Michigan. Our excellent server was Ben H. from Toronto Canada and he was amazing! He was so cheery and willing to help us 10 ladies to have a great experience celebrating my cousins birthday. The food was phenomenal! I found out that Ben H. was raised near Peterborough Canada, where my husband grew up. I also told Ben that my brand new baby great nephew named Ben H. was born as today as I was driving to the restaurant 8/8/ 2025!

Came in with a decent size group for lunch. Wasnt busy. Our server was good and attentive. Pretty good size menu, i decided to get the crispy jalepeno burger, which was cooked perfect along with seasoned fries. The burger itself was just ok. Very little spice for a jalepeno burger. I did not expect to sweat but I did expect it to have some heat. I will not even call it an average burger. I am glad i got the dressing on the side as it would of made the burger very sloppy, the bun became soggy as it was. They do have a great full bar with lots of draft beer options. I will not go out of my way to try this place again. Lots of better options in the area. I had high hopes.

I’ve been in for a few visits now and I’m never disappointed. I get burgers. Cowboy burger is my favorite. They season their fries to make them addictive. Hubby got the Birria melt, that’s definitely my next meal. He had the homemade tots as his side. The French 75 drink is my spirit of choice. I love sitting outside, even with Saginaw traffic.
