I had been seeing their posts pop up on some local Facebook pages I recently started following and one day they had a special for chicken and noodles over mashed potatoes, which I had interestingly enough been reading about just days before while researching food Indiana was known for. So, I took a drive and grabbed a plate of it along with their mushroom and Swiss burger.
While the chicken and noodle dish was interesting, it was the mushroom burger that really made my day. I am a big fan of that particular style burger and my favorite is at the Hardee’s fast food chain, of which there aren’t any local to my current location. This place did something most do not and had a mushroom gravy, very reminiscent of Hardee’s… and it was very good. I left there a happy (and extremely full) camper. I plan on stopping in again to try some of their other offerings.
