Anthony was great. Prompt and courteous. Had the Double Jack chicken sandwich with dirty rice. Wife had pulled pork.
Double jack comes with grilled chicken, ham, bacon and jack cheese. Bun was fresh and soft. All the meats were very flavorful and moist. Added bbq sauce to top it off. Dirty rice with brown gravy and sausage crumbles was great.
Pulled pork perfect.

Great place to go and meet with friends, and they have have one of the best Happy Hours in town. The staff and service is top-notch! Unfortunately for me; I am a margarita aficionado,( yes I know you don’t go to a BBQ spot for margs) and they changed the standardized mix for margs to one that is honey based. Honey is an unmistakable flavor and one that is overwhelming. I don’t mind the taste of honey but not in a drink that is supposed to be a nice blend of citrus tones that you could imagine drinking in the shade on a beach , even honey bees don’t go to the beach. A honey cocktail is not one I can stomach. Please at least leave an option for a citrus flavored margarita. My rating is based on the premise that I primarily go there for Margaritas.

I really wanted to love this place but it feel a little short. We had some jalapeno honey cornbread and various wings. The wings were of good size, but a bit on the dry side (extra blue cheese is a dollar). I thought the buffalo sauce could have been hotter, why not use Frank’s? The teriyaki felt burnt and dry. I’d probably give this place another chance but I’m not running there now.

We are outside and it was good food but definitely not the indoor experience. They didn’t really keep the tables cleared and there were 6 outside tables. The indoor seating was packed at 4:45 in the afternoon – it was a rainy day so it may be all beach people with nothing else to do. Ordered a margarita on the rocks and it was a bit harsh – definitely not the drink I would order again. The area has some interesting stores near it so there are some things to look at nearby.
We had all appetizers and a salad. The chicken pecan salad was ok but the dressing had too much orange. The brisket nachos were good, with much more brisket than we expected. The brisket queso was good, but not the best queso I have had. The brisket nachos were a better deal and had some queso on them as well.

The BEST wings in this area. It’s not just the wings but the sauces provided. There is no place in this area that compares to the sauce combos, along with very meaty wings. I admit to going for hot flavors v. others. So that is an influence. But I have been to several of the highly rated local wing restaurants and One Hot Mama’s is a level above.

I had such a great experience at One Hot Mama’s in Bluffton! Our server Gabriela was amazing super friendly and really knew the menu. She recommended the onion haystack cheeseburger, and they were both incredible! The burger was juicy and full of flavor, and that onion stack was next-level crispy. You can tell she really wanted us to enjoy our meal, and we definitely did. We’ll 100% be coming back thanks, Gabriela, for the awesome service!

I tried this place for the first time and WOW I am blown away. I have never left a review for a restaurant before but I HAVE TO for their amazing flavor, options, decently priced, delicious food. We had the appetizer of the cheese fries and they were scrumptious. Normally places skimp you on the topping but boy oh boy they did not disappoint. The fries were swimming in the delectable sauces. I ordered the ribs with the fried chicken. My ribs were crispy on the outside but melted apart in your mouth. The sauce they bring out with your food paired perfectly with them. The chicken was breaded to a crisp and seasoned perfectly. It was not dry at all! I got mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy as my sides. I am fairly picky with my mac and cheese and they won me over. The noodle shape and the cheesiness is amazing. The mashed potatoes and gravy were also scrumptious, which I added some salt and pepper too. My meal came with a complimentary corn bread, drizzled with honey and it was perfect.
My waiter was friendly and made sure our drinks were always filled and checked on us multiple times. The resteraunt was fairly empty but there should be a line out the door!

I ordered door dash(while working) and immediately upon opening the bag and box, I noted no utensils. I called and spoke with Autumn who informed me that it was the “dashers” responsibility to get the utensils. I don’t think I ordered food from the dasher. I placed an order with One Hot Mamas. And I should have received utensils with my paid order. The food is ok,it’s seasoned good but it’s dry. First impressions are everything and I’m not really impressed.

I have to be honest, I wasn’t too gung ho on coming here due to limited healthy food choices, but it was my son’s suggestion so we came anyway. Much to my suprise, this place had delicious food and the service was amazing! There were multiple salad options with a little southern spin on them, I really enjoyed mine. My son had the ultimate fried chicken sandwich and I had the south in your mouth salad, both were amazing! Anthony was an awesome waiter, he had drink refills before we got to the bottom of our glasses and he was over the top friendly, so nice to see that. I would definitely recommend this place after a long day in the sun at the beach. It was a little treat to have the sea salt scrub in the ladies room too.
